they don't ever wanna let their vans or trucks go. Did it get in a crash?
At the end of their useful life UPS has All their stuff. Crushed or dismantled.

Just curious...the mix of plastic, rubber, aluminum, glass etc. isn't it more or a hassle to separate it later? I see some wrecking yards go crazy on separating everything on a vehicle.
N1ksf it all depends on the scrape yard if close too a rail way they will load a rail hopper by the ton some yards have scrubbers that separate .the plastic rubber and.metal. glass is like gold they used this in some sandblasting again it depends on the yard mexico they will come and load up on this reusable materials by the trailer load

Very inefficient process, so many reusable parts simply wasted.
Not worth the cost most of the time. New parts or rebuit are often the better way to go nowadays. Reliability is a concern.

Sad to see so many reusable parts from the van being wasted. There's money to be made with those reusable parts. People do buy them as an alternative to paying an arm and leg for them at dealerships.
This was stripped off all usable parts before crushed.

why throw 1 in at a time id give that puppy a dozen
William laws not all parts work instruments clusters motor parts etc they may work for a day week month etc then it not function any electrical .it safer to buy new or rebuilt a least you too return it back to the store at scrape yard your on your own my family had a car smashing operation .we would on some occasions give the parts .away.but with a release form too. Avoid any issues.
