Himmel didn't confess to Frieren because due to all the time they spent together, he knew that Frieren doesn't understand romantic emotions. It's kinda the whole point of the show that it takes Frieren looking back at these moments after many many decades to understand that her relationship with Himmel was special. It's really... tragic

My grandma lost her husband in the war during her twenties and she never had a relationship ever again until her death at the age of 96. Himmel the hero was one of the four people to defeat the demon king and was revered by all humans for that and helping whoever came his way. Any woman would probably love him for what he did and not for his character. Any woman except Frieren who traveled and fought beside him.
On top of that, the first time Frieren and Himmel met was when he was a child lost in the woods feeling lonely for the first time, she gave him hope by casting the field of flowers. Real core memory shit as Garnt would say :D
So Frieren was just not replaceable for Himmel. Loving her and helping everyone in need was what gave him fulfillment in life, even if she lacked the emotional intelligence to reciprocate his feeling.

I live alone, and still prefer to be fully dressed if I'm outside of my bedroom, lol. I do sometimes have night sweats unfortunately though, so it varies how dressed I am when I sleep. It's gotten better ever since I took the time to clean the fan I always use each night for ambient noise (like Garnt, I try to not use AC overnight). Now that it's clean, it blows such cold air that I sometimes habe to turn it away from my face, which is awesome. It's just a cheap, plastic standing fan I got from Walmart for about $20 nearly nine years ago. It'd been about a year since the last cleaning, so it'd collected dust. Here's just a friendly reminder that your fans might not be crappy because of age, but because of dirt 😂
I do hate socks, however, no matter how comfy they are and will only begrudingly put them on for a few hours in the winter. Once I'm warm, I always kick them off like a baby, and usually can't remember when it was that I kicked them off so I have to retrace my steps to find them. Usually, it's under my desk and I removed them while taking calls 😅. Or, they're tangled in the bed covers.
I don't like sweating in my fucking bed. I can change my clothes daily, I change my bedsheets every few days, I couldn't sleep in my own sweat that's disgusting

1:06:52 Jokes aside, I think that's one of the points of Frireren. They're all developing their emotional maturity together. Frieren herself is developing from this home schooled kid who don't know much about human interaction, to someone who's starting to get it more. I think every flashback is an introspection where something clicked for Frieren or any of the characters. And developmentally, it made sense. Flamme have to focus Frieren because her time scale is comparatively short. So there was not a lot of time to teach her about what it means to be human. There were only tidbits. Fern also suffer from the same developmental problems. Her parents died when she was young, and was stuck with an old priest (that sounds really bad, I know). When Frieren finally got to her, it was all the same. Nothing but magic.

I suppose that’s possible. The show has never showed an interspecies couple, or the manga as far as I’m aware. It may not be possible physiologically for all we know.

To enlighten the pajama arguement, they aren't for when you're sleeping, but in the evening until going to sleep. They are comfy to lounge in (like sweat pants). For context, I sleep in boxers, but love my pajamas and will pack them. (but they probably are first on the chopping block.)

There's a lot less focus on the story for Fez, and Tunic has some level of story elements to it, but I'm curious how that would affect Connor's enjoyment of them in comparison to Void Stranger and Fear & Hunger.
Some other games in this "subgenre" are: Outer Wilds, Toki Tori 2, La Mulana 1 & 2, Her Story,
There are also some other games I know of that are kinda similar, but don't feel like they fit in the same "subgenre" including The WItness, Baba is You, Antichamber, Heaven's Vault, and Return of the Obra Dinn.
They all, in some way or another, harken back to that time before widespread knowledge was available about games, like they talked about in this episode.

As a tall person, I have to agree with Conner on this take. Sometimes when I'm in my house, if I don't wear socks, my feet feel like I just shoved them in a cooler full of ice. Hell, sometimes even WITH socks on they feel that way.
Turning the heat up doesn't work for me because that just makes the rest of my body too warm. So just wear some socks and problem solved. Feet not too cold, body not too warm.

Hearing about Connor's video production process made me appreciate Mudan and his team's work even more
Regarding Himmel not confessing... As an anime only watcher, my interpretation is that he was purposely containing his feelings because he knew that Frieren wouldn't be able to deal with the emotions and the sheer weight of seeing her loved one part and living for centuries after that. Frieren was also emotionally immature, so I believe that Himmel saw more value in making her experience the meaning of human life through her journey with him, than having a romance (which she was not capable of having).
Connor's fear and hunger video is the reason i found boys in the first place. I just love seeing people experience that game and im glad yt recommend to me that video
