My birthday happens to be ON thanksgiving or before thanksgiving. So people are out of town, or with their families. Last time I tried inviting people for my birthday, my friends never said anything in response. Mind you, these were people I've spent the last 10+ years with as friends. Celebrating their birthday, was the person expected to be there to drink and make a fool of myself. When it came to me, nope. Now I only have 2 friends I always ensure to invite, and they're not even certain either lol.

So her parents usually go vacation and whatnot and completely forgot about Their daughters Birthday...Not even a small little "happy Birthday" message? Not even that? Granted there are many others who don't celebrate at a certain point, but they still get some Birthday Wishes from some family members and friends, but not even that? Say what you want, that would personally hurt me a lot. Makes you feel they forgot about you, or that you are not family or so.
