The final four tries of the match delivered the Stormers a thrilling comeback victory over the Pumas on Friday night.

Super Rugby Unlocked, AU and Aotearoa have shown that really Southern Rugby should be domestic comps with the top two teams playing a champions cup after the season.
Yep
Taylor I hope someone on top sees your comment. That's a great idea.
Yeah Top 3 from SA and NZ then top 2 from AUS. No need to completely kill the Comp.
@@funinkosikheswa 8 makes no sense. 1st and 2nd in each country. Single round robin, no grand final just the team with the most wins and most points gets the champions cup.
Puma's no. 12 played excellent! Very intelligent support line at 2:50
There is no lack of competitive teams to form a professional domestic league in SA. Just forget about Pro14 and SuperRugby.
Basically the Currie Cup 2.0 but way better and competitive
Amen brother. Instead of chasing the money, SA should concentrate on their domestic Currie Cup and make it one of the premier club competitions in the world.
@@C.K75 Sadly, we have to follow the money or we will lose every decent player we have to Europe or Japan. The international flavour of a competition also gives us different styles of rugby to pit ourselves against and I feel that if we play only a domestic competition, we might find ourselves becoming one dimensional again.
Neh we need to get used to those NZ boys and how to handle that fast paced game🤔
@@Karma-qt4ji I see what you're saying but is the South African public really going to buy into a NH comp that will be played in the South African summer? I doubt it.
I did not expect that score line.
Well done Pumas none the less
I back the Stormers, but I've been loving how the Pumas play so far! Even when they don't pull the victory they score high!
uberplatinum1 I would say bad defense rather then great attacking rugby lots of missed tackles anyone have the tally?
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Dont know how Pumas threw that away. Well Done Stormers. Epic response.

Great to see that after 3 rounds that we are seeing the real South African Brand of rugby coming to the fore. Pumas was robbed I am sorry but the quality, speed of the rucks and precision was very good. Every year the top 4 teams should go on to play in the pro14 pumas deserves a shot.
Wayne van der Bank take a bow
That was a crazy game.
Well done Puma’s. Stormers had to get their shit together proper fast!
@Lee Shackelford BS
What a game! Great heart shown by The Stormers to stay in it then win it.
So close at winning Pumas...well played, but Stormers had to do something. Great game👏🏾🏉🖤💯
@Lee Shackelford you're kidding, right? Do YOU ACTUALLY think they played well? Seriously???😂😂😂
Whattt a good comeback by the stormers
Vs pumas there shouldnt be comebacks...
@@nielvanderwalt1965 the pumas were playing really good rugby so what’s your point
Point is a so called powerhouse shouldnt struggle against them. Cheetahs destroyed them.
T.I.R. This Is Rugby. Super exhilarating stuff, wow.
Hope to see a lot more of Wayde Van der Bank in the future
2 forward pass tries
Neil Maritz sublime wing
Just signed for the Blitzbokke
@@phiphedude7684 that's great news
Great come back that only a quality team can produce.
Wow 🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️🙆🏾♂️
WHAT A COMEBACK!!!!
Two forward - assist passes by the stormers.
Pumas only
Bloody hell Stormers!
The referee was terrible in this game. he let both teams get away with illegal rucking and forward passing. hope he gets better next time
Yeah. I agree.
Lol
This pass is forward, Stormers should have not won this game. 5:37
Nothing wrong with Puma attacking game.... Need to work on that defence gentlemen
That pass looked forward, badluck pumas
Yeah I think maybe our Stormers got lucky.
@@len2son twice
Nope! Was perfect
3 forward passes from Pumas though....
Stormers playing with 15+ 2(ref & TMO). Result was just a formality.
nah.. there were forward passes on both sides that the ref missed.
@@len2son Yeah. He was really crap. Also missed a few times where chasers were infront of the kicker ad forward passes on both sides.
Super Rugby Unlocked is a lot more entertaining in my opinion then it’s New Zealander and Aussie counterparts because more new teams have joined the fray. Lots of top notch talent too.
And they still have the EP Kings as well.
I'm from Europe and super rugby aotearoa was far superior this reminds me of club football
@@abcd1234jason SR Aotearoa was fantastic of course, but what I like about SR Unlocked is the diverse variety not only of teams but of players too. It also gives the Bok coaches more to choose from for test matches or tournaments.
El Gaucho just because they have more players doesn't mean the talent pool is any bigger in fact could make the team quality worse the other super rugby comps finished weeks ago, probably why South Africa couldn't commit to rugby championship
@@abcd1234jason You shouldn't forget that South Africa has over 300 of their top players playing abroad. That is why South Africa's Super Rugby teams struggled every year because they have to rebuild their teams with the up and coming talent every year. Some of the top players are returning to the provincial teams but unfortunately they are past their best before date. Imagine how good Super Rugby Unlocked would have been with South Africa's top talent competing in it.
Foward pass for gelants try wow
Nope
Great comeback but huge amount of defensive work to do Stormers🤔🤔
From both teams actually. Pumas surrendered a great lead
Talk about a game of two halves, stormers seem rusty.
Why did pumas change their kits at halftime?
If im correct it’s something they do every game. Probably just a tradition or something
@@marcooosthuizen9839 ohh you’re right just checked last weeks highlights. Would be interested to know the reasoning behind it, if it is a tradition
@@gus3635 i think it is to start each half fresh
@@gus3635 The coach believes that each half is a new start. So if you are ahead by 30 at halftime then your mindset should be 0-0 at the start of the second half. Did not seem to work tho.
2:02 Anatomically the highest possible tackle?
No. That accolade has to go to Israel Folau for his "tackle" on Dillyn Leyds.
Leyds hair was hainging lower than that top of the scalp tackle lol
looks like a pretty chippy game
Puma game 2half was really disappointment
Nice forward pass try
siempre pecheandola los pumas
What´s the name No.12 of Pumas? Such a good player
Surely the Stormers could have found someone better than Tim Swiel.
What happens to the hundreds of schoolboy flyhalves in this country.
They just seem to disappear.
mark willies because their 85kg frame can't stand decent hits
more Forward Passing than in an American Football Game...
Have the rules changed, Stormers forward passes don't count? Poor refereeing cost the Pumas the game.
Some terrible refereeing there.. was clearly forward on the replay.. couldn't believe he awarded the try
Horrible ref. Missed forward passes on tries for both teams.
Its not a forward passes if its with momentum players also moving forward learn rugby before commenting both teams try was fine u prob support the bulls
Jandre Rudolph(spelling) is heading to the Springboks.
Cheetahs signed him. He joined them this week.
matthew
Sharks gan wen
Commentary lacks dedication, and energy😖😪 goodness me
Line out at 1:23 was very skew
Agreed. Seems like the ref missed alot
Stormers, that was painful and embarrassing to watch. Sloppy passes you hardly see in high school rugby anymore.
Found the SA games so far boring because they’re weren’t going in the direction of modern rugby. This is much better, one hell of a rugby game. I think I can speak for most ppl when I say we hope that all SA teams start playing like that instead of just a brute power approach.
Biggest problem right now is just rustiness from 6 months of hard lockdown in SA. It'll take some time for everyone to get back to peak sharpness. Unfortunately we're seeing a bunch injuries as well, which is why Rassie didn't want to go to the RC, the SA players are still a long way from being fully fit.
@@nowelaZA Good point. Hopefully you’re right and in the coming weeks we’ll see the best version of SA rugby possible.
Where are the Argentinian players?
Pumas are only Argentine... 🐆
2 forward passes, useless tmo's and ref.
Forward from Schickerling. Pumas robbed.
Go watch your bulls team lose its not forward its momentum clearly u need to learn rugby this ain't netball
