    I used the cobra knot to finish off my bf’s mala necklace because I didn’t have a tassel. Looks beautiful! Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial.

    That Tibetan method rocks...I like how you continue to show the diamond knot every time for those just starting out. great beginner, (or finisher for that matter), for just about every weave... Ending it off with the Cobra weave... Nicely done... I'm really not gone on the ol'snip and singe... I'm all about tucking back along the length of the weave... But I'm whacky like that 😁

    Is there a method to joining this thinner paracord? I was hoping to make a two-tone version of this, but I don't have a for small enough to join the thin cord the way I join 550.

      @TheWeaversofEternity  Před 5 lety

      I think you can melt 95 cord together, but because it's so thin, the bond may not be very strong. If I can come up with an alternate method, I'll make a video about it.

    Awesome Style, can this be done in a two color pattern?

    • @mindbonker
      @mindbonker Před 5 lety

      Actually, I'm working on that as we speak...

    • @mindbonker
      @mindbonker Před 5 lety

      I started with two colors and did one pass of a Solomon knot in reverse of the way you would usually do it, running back down the core... Then started the snake knot right after that... Running the Solomon knot in reverse allows the snake knot to meet the Solomon knot and have the cords move in the same direction... Complete the weave and run a mad Max style tie off through the top two loops of the Solomon knot... Finish off the weave how you feel... Enjoy

    Just curious: what is Tibetan Technique?
    :)

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  Před 5 lety +2

      The Tibetan technique is the method of tying snake knots shown in this video. I also did a separate tutorial on that exact method using 550 paracord. Link is in video :)
