These are so peaceful. Do you teach 1v1? I'm just learning, but this may be my favorite this far.
Can I use that to tie two lengths when making a sling if I didn't allow enough paracord after the pouch I'd make? The tutorial I saw last had it short, I could just use a bunch more paracord I suppose, but like practical practice solutions better. Cheers.

So is it the same knot with just two different ways to make it, or is the second way a double strand knot? I took screenshots and flipped one so they line up and they look identical except for one end. And if it’s a double strand, it would use about double the cord, so would it be worth it to do that if the end result isn’t noticeable? Thanks, and it’s a great short.
They're actually different. The first method are single stacked snake knots (technically wall knots) and for the second one, the snake knots are connected. The end results isn't that noticeable by sight, but you can definitely feel it in hand and the flexibility of the piece. Thanks for the comment!

What do you recommend to purchase when starting out with making Paracord items? I see these Paracord Rigs on Amazon and knotter tools,, Monkey First Jig.. etc. Do you sell these types of things, do I need them? I became disabled and have too much time on my hands, not much money, been homeless since I became disabled two + yrs ago.. I loved hiking fishing camping so I found your channel today and thought,, I could do this.. How should I get started please, & how much $$ do I need to have saved up.to start.. Have a Blessed Day. Very easy knot once you get it going. But that 2nd way just looks too complicated for me. Probably alot easier once u try it thou.

Anyone know: is this a strong rope splice or just decorative?
This is mainly a decorative knot, but if you have several snake knots tied between two cords it will be very strong (I have not tested it). However, it's still not really meant to be a load bearing knot/splice I believe.
