- Today we're back stateside at Doogie's in Newington, Connecticut having a crack at their infamous hot dog challenge...
Diners get twenty minutes in which to finish two 2ft hot dogs with four toppings, a portion of fries and a drink. If successful, you don't get the $40 meal free, but you do get a t-shirt, a spot on their wall of fame, a $20 gift card and a frequent diner's discount card.

We called my (late) mom, "hollow leg" because she could eat like no one would believe. At a buffet, she would "warm up" with a couple of hot dogs before moving onto a few servings of fried chicken and mashed potatoes and then like the Beard, get some dessert! RIP Mom, miss and love you!

The fellow customers were lovely too and seemed to really enjoy the spectacle.

I grew up one block from there and eat there at least once a month. It's a great throw back atmosphere. You can't find many places that specialize in hotdogs these days and they are delicious. They also sell fried dough, which is impossible to find unless you go to a carnival or make it yourself.
No dessert…I’ll just have a cold half eaten hotdog instead . You continue to impress Mr Beard!

I'm very new to Adam's videos, but loving them. Does he ever fail any? Granted I'm a newb but he seems to smash them all with relative ease. Even having watched him a few times and been well aware of his obvious talent, you still go 'nah, no chance' and he smashes it.
