  • To handle all the power that our twin turbo 427 is going to make we need a serious rear end in our Drag Challenge Ute, and that's going to take a whole bunch of mods.
Street Machine Carnage is all about having fun with cars. Sometimes it's serious performance, sometimes it's crazy fun, but it always interesting and done on a budget.

    Hey Bro,
Have you considered raising the Deck-bed Floor, to the height that allows Diff Clearance???
That would be my solution & sacrificing a wee bit of Cargo Depth, but probably not relevant enough to discourage, for this purpose (& most others anyways).

Adam from MPW instilled a lot of confidence in what he was doing. He was very methodical in his explanation, sounds like the ute is in good hands. Some decent looking welds as well. Even though it looks like there is going to be some modifications to the plan, that is lot more like my idea of quality work. I am guessing he didn't want to install the wishbone on the bottom because of the exhaust?

    • @Low760

Could have simply made the 4 link brackets 3" longer if he wanted to turn it into something looking like a 4WD. I think the idea is to kind of keeping it look stock.
