Till was a Swimer in his youth and made it to the 1980 Moscow Olympis list. However, they dropped it from the list, as he left the Hotal on the European Campionship in Italy at night without permission. At the time Rammstein was formed he did work as a basket maker.

some weeks ago they played at my city. it was evening, i was at home. first i thought theres a huge thunder until i realized it´s coming from the concert. it was so loud you could hear it nearly through the entire city.
he is putting on a show (the other bandmembers as well) if you happen to meet one of them at a bar, they are just down to earth nice guys ( never met them myself, but have some credible sources ;)

Till originally pierced a hole in his face to put the light in. It got infected, and leaked when he ate/drank. So he pierced the inside of his cheek to clip the light to so it doesn't affect his singing. I left you that Rammstein song in your Henk reaction...

this was supposed to be my first ever rammstein show seeing them at madison square garden but didnt buy tickets because thats how much i hate NY and traffic plus parking. thought they would come back again soon but it was many years. wish i just gave in and went but at least i just saw them last month.

some weeks ago they played at my city. it was evening, i was at home. first i thought theres a huge thunder until i realized it´s coming from the concert. it was so loud you could hear it nearly through the entire city.

by the way - the guitarist Richard Kruspe has a solo project "Emmigrate" - they have also very good songs. Some songs with Till Lindemann. Please look at "always on my mind from Emmigrate feat. Till Lindemann.
Till originally pierced a hole in his face to put the light in. It got infected, and leaked when he ate/drank. So he pierced the inside of his cheek to clip the light to so it doesn't affect his singing.

this was supposed to be my first ever rammstein show seeing them at madison square garden but didnt buy tickets because thats how much i hate NY and traffic plus parking. thought they would come back again soon but it was many years. wish i just gave in and went but at least i just saw them last month.

that was truely epic stadium rock, wolfman almost went beast mode and started a mosh pit just watching the video.
It's a Slaughter Mans Apron, he is also warning a hairnet and something very similar to the chainmail gloves that Slaughter Men and Butchers use to protect their hands from the incredibly sharp knives they use. The Red Feathers around his neck represent flowing Blood as in many ancient cultures.

Mentioning Nightmares, you should listen to "Mein Herz Brennt". That song is litteraly about nightmares. if you are interested, there are two versions a piano version and a metal version. Both are great, but the piano version is hauntingly beautifull and till shows his acting qualities :)

Fun fact about the bassist: Hes about 6’8. So some of his basslines are almost impossible to play with «regular sized» hands lol.

Lol, the verbiage you will pick up listening to Rammstein all day may just get you interview mit Bundespolizei "if all you spoke was Rammstein" For example you decide to go mit Weißes Fleisch lyrics on your next trip und ask a kindly older Fräulein where ist der park but knowing only Deutsch through Rammstein lyrics it comes out as "You, on the school yard, me, ready to kill und no one here ist aware of my loneliness red marks on white skin; I hurt you" So maybe a small dilemma there. But luckily Germans have the greatest sense of humor on planet (cough, bullshit) so you be fine. On other hand though a few of there songs actually have very poignant lyrics mit deep meaning. Herr Wolfman will most certainly agree Dicke Titten falls in that category (try using that when looking for fun place to go). But in seriousness Ohne Dich (without you) ist sehr beautiful. For fun video Klein Lust (No desire) ist a hoot.

1. Rammstein is a play of words. Partly from a big airplane accident in the city Ramstein (note difference in spelling), partly a stone used back in the days to block doors.
2. New band? They been around since 1994.
In this song Rammstein made some references to Laibach, from whom they were influenced.
Btw, I would love seeing your reaction to the song „Vor Sonnenaufgang“ from Laibach.
is strainge you said german is has a way I grow up english as a german in australia and I knew only english and as my dad came back I had to learn it first I hated it but german has a beutty most cant figure germans realy paint there language
