I never knew this type of ting existed in the RC world, i have long been a fixed wing an 1:8th scale rallycross guy, but this is amazing! How on earth does it crush the rocks?

All the machines in 1/8 scale are self constructed and not available in shops.

What scale do you prefer? 1:8 or 1:14 or 1:16?
TheAlexdrift I love all that RC stuff. The best choice I have in 1:14,5 (Tamiya). I like 1:8 scale very much as well, because there are so many nice realistic details.
I love all the scales too, 1:14,5 is definitely the most available scale, it also can be used with 1:16 and doesn't look too bad. Have you see 1:4 scale trucks? they look great too!!!

Order from your friend that have the tools to make one for you. Or travel to one of these fairs in Germany and bring a suitcase filled with dollars. Maybe the owner like to sell?

Petre Thompson This is not for sale, it's custom built.
One would possible charge at least 10K USD for such a machine. 2-3K USD in parts, + 500 hours...The cost for such machinery does not depend much of the size, weather it sould be e.g 1:8 or 1:14, it is just as much work building a small one, as a bigger one. Steel and alu sheets are cheap anyway.

why is it a secret to where to buy and how much
Only one company produces such, in scale 1:14.5. Check out www.premacon.de. Not sure if it is shown in their webshop or not. Guess we're talking $12-13K. Otherwise take a trip to one of the German RC model exhibitions, like Intermodellbau Dortmund, and ask some of the persons who owns one, if they like to sell, or can build another one.
