Can't decide because every goal of MESSI has his own charm and beauty. The 3 best goals I think are;
1. Against Getafe when he was just 19 and beat the whole team.
2. Against Real Madrid in the UCL Semi-Final 2010/11.
3. Against Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del ray Final 2016.

THAT goal in THAT match against Espanyol in 2016 for example, Suarez scored the goal, Messi had no assist technically speaking, but the stuff he did was unreal, that's the kind of stuff that doesn't show up on a stat sheet that differentiates him from others.

Amazingly and yet quite unbelievably, I used to be a strong CR7 fan. I used to prefer him to LM10. Though I had always admired Messi and he was my second favorite from day 1. But during his Qatar 2022 world cup journey, I fell so deeply in love with him. Messi is actually irresistible. You can't but help admire his ingenuity. Infact, he's 200%!

Two Things-
When Messi scored his first goal for Inter Miami from that last minute free kick, many detractors, CR7 fan club, were questioning the quality of the goalkeeper because he was very late to get across. How many goalkeepers here also didn't get across to stop the goal... ? many!
Secondly
I have noticed Messi attacking with the ball fast outside the box and then it's like he passes the ball to the defender whose waiting to tackle Messi, but he ends up giving the ball back to Messi where he now steps around a defender that is now flat footed because it's like it has thrown the defender off. He wasn't expecting to get the ball but has now given it back to Messi. I'm beginning to think that's in Messi's bag of tricks. Use the defender as a wall, bounce the ball off the defender and by the time the defender realises whats happened, Messi has already scored. Messi has done this many times. 👏👏👏

Bro I totally agree I've noticed this too. When he's on a fast run he uses his own team mates as distractions and quick ricochet passes and in his mind he's probably like, why not use the enemy in the same way 😂 you're right, he's done it many times using the defenders. 😂

People also forget that tactics and defending as a whole in football have evolved and its much more improved in the 21st century after 2004-2005 especially as more focus on team cooperation and ball control has grown, so achieving the things Messi has done is much harder than it would be for any famous players in the 20th century playing football back then.

Regarding Pele, I saw Pele play when I was a teenager, in Miami around 1974. The NASL team, I believe the New York Cosmos signed him and everywhere he went, huge crowds came to see the legend. He came to Miami to play the Gatos. He was older by then but still when he touched the ball, the crowd would rise in anticipation, just like they did with Wayne Gretzky in hockey and Michael Jordan in basketball, Pele was considered the best at that time to play soccer. I believe Messi has far surpassed everyone in terms of overall skill, he is just on another level. I wish I had paid more attention to soccer the last 15 years, but I missed most of Messi's prime due to working too much! There is a really good documentary on Pele on Netflix, that was done just a couple years before he passed away. Seeing him old and fragile really
