I’m so glad and proud of myself that I found this out all by myself before finding this video randomly. Great tactics but mine are just a little different to suit my tendencies. That being said, it doesn’t make you unbeatable, and I’ve learned that more than I care for. One wrong move, with how many teams have fast players like mbappe, diaby, jairzinho, etc, you can lose quite fast…but not without scoring a lot aswell 😅

Settled at playing with the 4-4-2 after trying out so many formations which all were not consistent for me. Will try these tactics in the TT Cup tomorrow and see how it works. I am usually not a fan of my wingers to get in behind because I need active passing options in the midfield not having everyone running away from me as soon as I have the ball.
4-1-3-2 needs to be done. Such an underrated and underused formation.
No one seems to do custom tactics on 4-1-3-2 so would be great for you to do one👍🏽

I’ve got a similar game plan with the 3-5-2 formation. FBs are wide, No 10 pulls out defenders
Very nice tactics, plays exactly how you said it would, so much space for strikers. I feel like i could have anyone at LM and RM though as they are not involved much, bit of a waste

I always use the 442 flat since fifa 11 way back on ps3, i found this formation is high risk on defense, but it's the easiest to attack with pacey wingers / strikers, you can score lots of goals without too many efforts
Of course because FIFA is broke,just run and score,just like in real football ⚽

Hey Brabbsy, thank you for the nice tutorial. Ill try this. Im looking at how your opponent plays and its absolutely garbage. Like hes always out of position, he doesn't give you hard time at all, at some point he run with the center back almost to the kickoff area and then tackle at 5:29

At 2:06 you are not instructing to set strikers on stay central but in the demo part you're saying that by staying central you can get x y z benefits.i am really confused kindly sort this out for me.

Great formation my friend. suggestion if you will, also tell us what to change when we are in a lead or behind, for example I was loosing and I put pressure on and up the depth to 72 and won. also it helps you with the video length so you can easily get to 8-10 min

Why no aggressive tackling from CDM's or Full backs? Also have FB's set to Overlapping and one CB as 'get forward' to add to midfield possession.

Just tried it but the game lag killed any chance of enjoying it, it’s also a bit weak against the constant pressure monkeys. Will wait a few days and try again.

why is the defensive width so large usually the method is to be 40 or below to clog the middle?

You can, but then you'd risk your fullbacks doing the same and your strikers being too far apart if they cover for a winger. It's a good idea but it would open you up more

Really observant mate, I hit the reset button half way through recording and must have not set the strikers back up properly. It's meant to be stay central, though balanced width is just as effective! Use whichever you prefer 😁 well spotted!

Tried them out and really enjoy it. And tbh i like forward runs way more then direct passing. My players actually move forward on the pitch. I dont get why they say direct passing is the meta. I always get better results using forward runs lol. And im just an average noob player tbh🤷♂️

Watched the whole video explained really well and right to the point no fucking about. I play this 442 formation as my balanced formation and My ultra defensive is 5122 which is a new formation in Fifa this year and my defensive is 4231 my attacking is 352 and my ultra attacking is 3421 each formation counters one another and nearly every formations in Fifa, one is my balance formation, One of my formations is for if I’m a goal or 2 up in last 10 min in fut champions il switch into my ultra defence if I’m loosing a goal or 2 down in last 10 min i will switch into my 3421 with constant pressure throwing the kitchen sink at them, my 4231 and 352 I play I love, So basically during the match i always hit start button at start of game after kick off and check to see if the opponent has changed there formation then I check again at half time and so on, I no every formation that counter one another in football in general, so basically I have 5 formations that I can switch into at anytime during game, that’s the secret then having right custom tactics and instructions on these formations for them to work and always tweak them after every new patches but this formation looks lethal going to try it out then il let you no what I think was in elite last season. ❤
That is literally, to the letter, how to play this game. You've got it figured out perfectly mate - its exactly what I do. 5 formations, each designed for a specific purpose and then nothing can surprise you. I have similar but the wide players are on balanced instead of stay wide, I just use the overload ball side tactic to use the width back like in 20 when it was op

I realise how badly i suck in that game. Im tooooo predictable and my defence is still shambles and the opponent seems to sweat or skill which furiates me more 😢

same here every one seems to be way better the me ,everybody is a skill god at division 5,6 somehow not a single easy game from 20 games I win maybe 2,3 and not by far just some lucky corner, there are games where I receive the ball and opponent already with 2 players in my face before the ball even arrives, nothing I can do no passing options everyone is covered I think I'm done maybe it's not for me I tried everything 4:42

Everything is alright once you reach Division 1, Everyone is Abusing Drop back Defense and tight width after you lose the ball they counter attack with 2 long passes and BAM!! Easy goals.
I am in div 1 and used this formation quite good against drop back 4 3 3
once u reach div 1 game is no longer enjoyable. All sweaty players, i get very stressed, i am in div 4(new player, somewhat noob) but many sweay players
