Thank you. Yours was the only one in which I could easily find the low pressure port. Got it working!
Awesome, sounds like it was a success.
Bro thank you for talking slowly. That helped me a lot 😂 I couldn’t find the low pressure side so I had to resort to good ol CZcams. Nice video
Thanks for the comment. It sounds like you had a successful repair.
Was wondering if you can do a broken spark plug video on this motor...? My #4 and 8 broke... People saided that it is easy but i never done one before.
Great Video! used it to recharge the AC on my 2001 Expedition. Thanks.

Dude thank you!!! Step by step is critical for newbies like my self trying to learn the trade

Thanks ! I have the same truck as you without the 4x4 sadly but I’m going to buy the AC PRO right now it’s so hot
Did this solve your problem?
This is exactly what I needed. My 2001 F150 Supercrew is struggling in Texas early Summer heat. Some days it is as if she is blowing hot air. Sometimes I can feel cool air blowing and then all of the sudden I am sweating with A/C on high. I had the A/C serviced, new parts, etc., so wondering if there is a part of maybe the vents had come loose, etc.. Took it to a mech, he said he recharged, but did he? Who knows. When parts were replaced, it would damn near freeze you out of the truck, 4 years later, and it simply isn't enough in this heat. Will recharge and see if this fixes the issue, or if I have another issue. Thanks for an awesome video, simple, direct, to the point, exactly my dumb dumb self needs. No mech here, so learning as I go. Thanks again.
Thanks for the comment. Good luck with your repair. I found that I do this service every 2-3 years or so.

Do you have any Mode 6 misfire videos? I have the exact same truck but in the color black. I have no code’s.
I don't as of yet have a video on this.
You need to tell how to test high & low pressure switch ?
Great video!!!🤓would not have found it!!!!
I've done this repair multiple times on these vehicles and I still need to watch my own video to find it.
Thanks you save me some extra money👍

My A/C compressor (on the same model and year) does the same thing. I also have a burning smell coming from the engine after extended drives. Do you think both of these issues could be from the same source?
I would suspect different issues. Have you found a solution to either?
@@InsaneOil What do you think those potential issues would be?
@@darrellcollins4104 With out seeing it, it is difficult to determine, but I think the A/C compressor issue is the system being low on refrigerant. The burning after long drives could be a brake caliper that is not fully disengaging, or it could be a rubbing belt, or it could be a small amount of fluid oozing from a gasket onto a hot surface.
I can tell you the best way
Thank you!!!
Thanks for the comment. Good luck with your repair.
What do I do if I don’t have a cap on there? Will it still work?
The little caps are just dust covers. You could blow a little compressed air to clean out any debris before performing the service.
If the ac compressor is locked up it won't spin correct?
Correct. If the vehicle is turned off, you should be able to manually rotate that magnetic clutch.
Would this be the same on the 4.6 V8?
Should be a very similar process.
Big fan of your videos. I have the same truck and you have helped me tremendously on tons of projects. I’m getting the same noise and my AC isn’t blowing cold like I want it to in this Texas heat.
Is the noise still gone? I plan on grabbing a recharge soon. Thank you for the effort you put into these videos!
Yes, it took care of the noise which was coming from the compressor kicking on and off constantly.
My ac is completely empty after replacing my condenser. Can i charge my ac back using these cans?
According to this website, you can. scanneranswers.com/recharge-car-ac-after-compressor-replacement/
I did the same procedure and everything seems to be working fine fuses ok ,fan clutch ok but no luck still blowing hot air
Does the A/C compressor engage when you turn it on?
I tried for a 3rd time and I think this time is working thanks for answering
Good
