Woodturning - Cedar Lamp - From The Shrubbery

  • I got this cedar shrubbery from my brother. I spend some time trying to figure out what to make out of the biggest part of it. I thought making this would be the best use of it.     You could turn a piece of Black Walnut to be a solid base screwed onto the bottom of the lamp. There's always some little kid, like I was, who has to see what is under the lamp. He sees the felt, then he has to know what's under it, so he takes out his pocket knife and preforms surgery on the piece of felt. Very nice work, Jim.
