watched the first four games so far. a pattern is emerging. sam knows his team is diamond, makes a play that doesn't work, is immediately surprised that his team is diamond
It's more of he's making plays that should work but his team can't back the plays because they're bad and don't understand it- which is why they're diamond and he's a consisten top 500
Top 500 players should carry in a diamond lobby. No excuses

its true an average widow can hold the lobby hostage, she can miss 20 shots and hit just 1 headshot and you're out, can't imagine how it feels against top500 widows were they only miss a shot or 2

I think samitwo is the only person I see blame his teammates for losing in unranked to gm.

He also just makes bad calls sometimes and doesn’t even acknowledge it. Lowkey what happened in that Beaver game? He wasn’t able to do anything then blamed his other DPS and his supports even though the Mercy was pocketing him most of that game and his tank was calling out everything to him at that point it’s on you dude.

The shade that is thrown at every single player he is teamed with is unreal. Solid game play does not overcome the 6 hours of negativity injected into one's soul. Instances his teammate was bad 6,347,290, instances he attempted to help them - 2.

It’s crazy how widow is considered overpowers now when at the beginning of Overwatch you were considered a troll for picking her
How many supports got to GM on a broken hero or patch or got boosted by friends so they can just sit there to show off the shiny emblem lol.
widow has so many openings that her ult is just to see everyone through walls, thats why she gets to be allowed to one shot and not hanzo

Kinda curious what changes Sam will make for Widow. I thought the character was in a ok state but I guess the ability to one shot is too strong in general. However, the character is useless without her ability to one shot
at higher ranks, on sniper favoured maps she just makes the game unbearable. if your widow is getting diffed its ggs go next. no character should have that power and they should give her the hog treatment where they should make her shit tier till they figure stuff out.

Yea he had 400 plus hours on this account already when he started this challenge like how is that unranked to GM? He was already high rated from the account.
It's good because their isn't much education from killing plats and below. Just better mechanical skill and knowledge of the game
@@Drew-fn6rqthat's where the most knowledge comes from considering most players watching this will be gold, plat and maybe diamond. Watching someone playing in masters or gm isnt gonna help most players as they wont even understand what's actually happening while showing what hes doing and thinking while facing plays directly tells the plats watching, what to think and look for during a game in plat.
The game plays fundamentally the same at all ranks, just at higher ranks everyone is doing what they're meant to be doing, apply what he does at high ranks into low ranks
I felt bad for @Beaver at 1:46:24, dude was a good guy and played well, sorry for Sam as the Mei said. Like yea he’s try harding Sam, it’s a GM lobby you should be too but you were too busy looking for someone else to blame when you got picked off by the Cassidy for bad positioning.

a bad widow with a tiny bit of team support can still get alot if value from nothing. widow is usually only useless when being hard dove on, with the rest of the team not getting any value from it.
To be bad at widow is literally just being bad at aiming, so when someone says "widow is easy" they mean to most people with any level of fps experience, like I have nearly 0 actual time on widow in 5 years of playing this game but when I copy them as echo I can easily dominate a team and the few times I've picked her up during the times where shes so meta that you had to pick her on her maps, I found it super easy to pick her up as its literally just point and click, and yea they have to position and be mindful of counters but name a hero besides sombra who doesnt have to be mindful of their counters, and even sombra has spy checkers even tho that craps so easy to evade with a bit of brain power lol
nah it’s pretty easy, even if you’re on a bad game missing shots a team still knows standing still, walking in a straight line, playing certain spots, are all cut off due to the fact of what widow can do

Is it just me or does this hero feel impossible to even play on console?
Yeah I have a pro controller with jump and crouch on back buttons and ult on L3 so it works pretty well. Otherwise, I don’t see an optimal way to play Echo on a normal controller, even if you rebind the buttons.
@@TrafalgarKiri ya I have a normal controller and tried so many rebinds with the buttons but they always make it feel really uncomfortable to play her and ends up being way inconsistent from how the buttons are binded from other heroes so I just ended up deciding there’s no point to playing her on console
@@danielburdisso1483 yeah I can’t even think of a good setting for a normal controller that would work. I even had to rebind the button for ult because it felt clunky af. Releasing your thumb from the stick while trying to aim at the target you want to copy, really lost me some fights. You can’t really afford to have any ability at the face buttons because every single one requires you to aim with your thumb.
She’s really fun to play but sadly not on a normal controller, where she just feels clunky.
I climbed to plat as echo on console without changing my key binds, its doable but you gotta use alot more techs and small things in her kit most wouldnt like the hang time the stickies bombs give you when you use them which can hold yourself in the air as you aim them, but now that I play on pc, I have a super in depth understanding of her kit that even pros probably dont use, like I bet most echos dont even know the sticky bombs have a hang time when you use them, but yea its definitely not easy and when I finally played her on pc and could play in the sky box it put it in perspective just how handicapped I was trying to force echo 😂

The moment pharah gets buffs and maybe can contest echo, I'd love seein a pharah to gm. I know right now she's just silly to learn. Her flight mechanics may be more mobile than echo overall, but they're way harder mechanically. Hopefully that skill ceiling can be explored later when buffs come thru. Then her ult makes the decision easy af, barrage or copy? fr blizzard these are the choices? lol
her rework feels like a nerf for bad hitscan players

Coal is easy to farm so you should be using it as an initator if you can, gives your team the confident to actually walk when they're being beamed for 140hps

I hate that widow is a thing. Its so annoying that someone can sit in the back of the map and one shot everyone while being untouchable. While im an echo main and actually have to use skill to get kills.

Whether it’s 2% of the time or not or whatever it is Hanzo could have one shot you with a random ass fucking shot that should not be in the game. I’m sorry, but it shouldn’t. You should not get rewarded for spraying down a choke, and hitting a random headshot.
you also shouldnt be granted infinite map control simply for aiming in. and BAHAH, more skill than HANZO? unless ur bronze, ur not getting 5 picks simply by spamming. widow doesnt even need to kill u for u to play differently. sorry, but sam is def right here

@@thanaxim at least the widow, you have to aim. Yes you have to aim on Hanzo there’s also a random factor there is not a random factor on widow. I hate the random factor whether it’s once a game or once every five games, I don’t care there should not be a random one shot factor that I have to worry about, just because somebody gets lucky spamming a choke
Yall act like pre aiming corners is different from hanzo spam 😂 both heros can get easy picks by spamming or pre aiming corners, that's just the benefit of a 1 shot inna game, so the question should be who's harder to hit unplanned shots like when a a soldier flanks you with an offangle and widows 100% easier in that situation then hanzo.
@@SandlerShephord it is a whole lot different? There’s nothing more annoying than watching a kill him and a Hanzo getting the kill when he wasn’t even aiming for you whether it happens once every 10 games or whatever that should not be a thing.
