    i have just got the CO-Z distiller and i am very happy with it and as i am new to this i am shocked by how clean tasting and sweet the water is, i am adicted to it now, in my tea in my coffee and just to drink.
    the first time i made 4 ltrs i thought thats a lot of water 3hrs later i had done the lot.
    and i have found the secret to long life, of the disttiller, use a timer to shut it off a litte short that way you will always have an inch or two before it boils down to the nasty stuff,

      Thanks for your reply. I have cleaned after each use. Are you meaning a cleaning cycle through the whole system? I haven’t done that yet. I did an experiment yesterday and discarded the first quarter of water. The remainder had a nice distilled taste.

    • @Freshnss
      @Freshnss  Před rokem +3

      I’m glad it’s tasting better!! What I was meaning is if it is brand new? Then you need to cycle the first batch of water through it to flush the system. Additionally, you should wash the collection container and inside of the distiller since they just came out of the packaging. It sounds like your problem is fixed though?

    • @rchesterman946

    I’ve recently heard that distilling water dose not remove chlorine and fluoride it’s the charcol or carbon filter what comes with the water distiller what the distilled water goes through at the end that removes some of it if so then that is massively annoying so apparently to fully remove fluride and chlorine you need to put the tap water through a carbon filter before putting it in a the water distiller to get rid of all the fluoride and chlorine because the little carbon filter or charcol filter bag what these distillers come with dosent remove all of it so I don’t know what’s your thoughts on that

First I stopped using the cleaning solution that came with it. That helped. Then I used my pend dish soap, but that didn’t get it spotless. The gasses when boiling reabsorbed by boiling water and get steamed again that's not good... Also some bad reaction happens when metal is in contact with water.

      @@Freshnss some of the science show that drinking pure distilled water may leach out minerals from your body such as your teeth. But if one is replacing those minerals through food, then it is safe to drink. Just be sure to use glass or high quality stainless steel, as distilled water is so pure it is prone pick up any other minerals or contaminants

    I purchased a C0z system and it keeps tripping my gfi outlets. Checked the outlets by a professional and all outlets good. Why does this system trip my outlets?

      If other appliances don't do that, it could be an issue with the machine. Did you contact the manufacturer?
