- Nearly every episode of Vikings, we get another great Lagertha hairstyle to marvel over. This is one from back in season 2, and is unique in that it's one of the very few styles where she has all her hair tied up. It's a great option for when you want a spicier, edgy ponytail to wear!

Me too! Try to pull your strands more upwards instead of backwards. That's what helps me.
I had this trouble too but what I learned to do is put the hair that is not going to be in the braid in a ponytail and to use bobby pins

I have noticed my arms get really tired and I can't get a feel for dutch braiding.
I try doing it in front of a mirror but I cannot for the life of me see what I'm doing and because of it my neck or arms start hurting and end up with messy hair and not a braid.
I love your Lagertha hairstyles! Wear them on mediaval Festivals and markets and everyone is jealous and asks me to do them in their hair

Well...it most certainly is! The color, length & thickness are so very beauty-full (Get it? Lol, beautiful & voluminous - full!)... & you can tell immediately how much care you're putting into making sure to have that awesome stuff growing out of our head look amazing!
Again, you make it verry simple to follow along with you! I've never braided anything in my life let alone hair and now I can do some of thr simpler styles myself with one finger hovering over the 'Play/Pause - ⏯' ...! You make it fun as well...your soft voice & the concise instructions, along with the video tutorial as a visually guided experience, makes it so easy!
Lastly, you allow a guy to self-braid his luscious locks* (not an exxageration* lol 😎) & make damn sure it's gonna look fantastic! Thank you so much! Keep up the great work & all these awesome styles! I hope you're a fan of Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice & Fire* Book Series)! There's a ton of pretty cool men's hairstyles & also some from the books not portrayed accurately in the TV adaptation...! I'd love to see how you'd play with the Daario Naharis which is in between a periwinkle & royal blue (apparently) colored hair (includes eyebrows & moustache/beard...it grows blue, it's not dyed, lol.).
So, I guess my Requests would be more Last Kingdom & definitely Game of Thrones & then I'd have to think of other stories with awesome hair. Oh, and can you please do the Men's Dragon Mohawk Braid which doesn't finish with a little bun &/or sprout @ the end but instead 1 or 2 different braids the length of shoulder length & longer hair (which is also a completely shaved undercut). I wish I kept my hair, I'm so mad lol. I like both but...a full head of hair allows for much more, braided or NOT..!

I know this woman who runs an aerial silks thing and she has her hair dyed dark purple (her natural color is a really dark brown, almost black, so it fades nicely) and she always has her hair up in these awesome braided ponytails.
I really have to get better at braiding the sides of my head ! Dutch braiding so tight and detailed feels so hard ! (actually my hair stay "divided" between the strand in the braid and the one i add, i have the same problem with thin fishtail braids) i think i'm missing something but i'll do it !!!

I have quite voluminous hair so I think the ponytail would look pretty cool also I absolutely adore viking hairstyles not only from the show but in general if I tie my hair up its only in a viking fashion unfortunately I don't have time for it everyday

I'm a guy with long hair, and I'm just getting into braiding.
I plan on doing something very similar, but more masculine, like this to my hair on a regular basis.
(two dutch braids on the sides, and a larger collective braid on the top. I'm still working out exactly how I want the look)

I find it sooo hard to french oder dutch braid the sides beginning with the little baby hair. I'm able to braid with longer strands, no matter how tiny, but the struggle with the baby hair always makes my braids fall apart. :(
