Lukas-Kévyn Müller i felt that way a year ago when i tried to make my very first dutch braid(the first hairstyle more complicated than a ponytail in my life:)girl, 26 years old.
lol, im pathetic when it comes to braiding but i figure i will get it eventually
cant even french braid (used to have one of my friends do it and damn it looks badass, tight to the head innys)
Probably just the coolest style ever, easier to do than braiding as well!
I just wanted to say thank you because I have never been able to do much with my hair(it's super short and the sides are shaved, also I am terrible with hair looks)But when I came across your Ragnar's Sons tutorial and the first version of Ivar's hair, I was able to do it pretty easily and it's been my go to ever since! Hey thanks for all of these viking men’s styles! I’ve shaved one said of my hair and it makes women’s styles difficult, but these men’s styles are usually made for shaved hair looks so it’s great!

26 year old dude here, and I havent cut the top of my hair in over a year, normally i go bald on new years just for shits and giggles, but never keep up with letting it grow out for the year. Although I did shave the sides, the top length has his about 6-7 inches, or 5-6 if its cold...but i couldnt shave my head this new years because my buddy is proposing this month, so I kept it, and my hair is hitting the length to where I can't really style it with pomade. Your videos are giving me so much more confidence and hope for what I can do with my hair.

27 year old growing my hair out for the first time. Going to go for a Viking sort of braid look, since I've had a beard already for about 6-7 years. Been growing my hair out naturally for about 3 months. And think it's time to get the sides cut short and go for this twist look. Wish me luck!

I was tempted to try something like this but then I realized it's probably going to take me 2 hours so I guess I'll just go with a side shave and a simple pony tail :) This might have worked for ancient warriors that washed their hair once every couple of weeks but I can't be arsed to do this every day lol.
NightLurk Lots of girls only wash their hair once or twice a week. You could easily wear this for 5 days or a week.

I've got to try this! I have long and thicker hair, was wondering exactly which beads you got from the etsy page? I checked it out but have no idea which ones to get:/
If you don't know which ones to get I'd err on the side of the larger beads (6mm and up) or a bead kit. Easier to use those in more ways, and then you can get smaller ones later if you have a specific need for them.

I have a question for most of you acquainted to braids...Assuming that hair is long enough, do you think it's plausible that enough hair stylists will know how to braid your hair?
I'd say almost certainly. Maybe not really complex stuff like some of the styles on my channel, but the more basic kinds of braids (three-strand/French/fishtail, etc) are very likely. Especially if you find one who features updo styling in their portfolio and not just cut/color.
