The answer for the question regarding safety was the most EVASIVE corporate BS EVER.. I think the questions in the interview should have been more daring and invasive.. because unfortunately maruthi whether we like it or not shapes and leads the Indian car industry and they should be liable and more responsible !
Uncle has solid point that indian drivers are stubborn our vehicles are lightweight yet solid like vibranium... Uncle's tone drastically changed when topic of safety entered out of syllabus...
Got a quick question .. why strong hybrid and not plug in hybrid . .. these strong hybrids can run on just ev mode .. why not add a feature that enables the same battery pack to be charged using an external power source .. since the battery pack stays same costs should ideally not go up a lot.. but the cars can do short city trips without even requiring a fuel top up …
Great Interview Just one question, when will they start respecting the significance of having 5 Star GNCAP rating aganist a consistant 0 -2 Star rating as they have got for most of the mass market products except Brezza, Where companies like Tata & Mahindra have started focusing on improving the structural rigidity achieving 5 star, Maruti has not even accepted reality let alone producing one such product !! I hope toyota takes it seriously and would sincerely look for safety rating scored by Hyryder / Grand Vitara
So, tough questions are not so tough as you might have thought. So give the vast network only 500 driving schools by Maruti not much also not competitive.
Well though on EVs. And I am sure Maruti will be leading the EV markets too by 2030. Everyone is rushing to get into EVs quickly but these guys are in a separate league. Create localisation first and then slowly start capturing the market!
The response for the safety questions were hogwash, considering that Tata is manufacturing 4-star Tigor and Tiago. Also, why the 3-seater Jimny is being skipped was a missed question.
That tin can reference, and response for it as saying perception issue is really a convinent way to skip the question Adding to that underestimating customers saying they need education of how energy transfers was a dumb way to thoughing it under the rug. The problem is with chassis to begin. Not enough research effort is flowing towards the platform safteyness for those cars.
You guy's should have never asked question to this uncle about Maruti's build quality & occupant safety... Uncle has no answer & he suddenly changed his tone after topic of safety came out of syllabus in this earlier casual discussion...😂😂😂
To ones in comment section questioning maruti for its build quality I don't understand why the complain . It's a free compititive market buy the Brands that you trust and market will take care of the rest. Social media pe aa k kya badal jayega
Saying this, as a guy who had 2 Suzukis in family, and then sold the 2nd Gen Swift to get a new gen Tata, because farq padta hai

If Tin can is a perception, why do these cars get 1 star or 2 star rating? But same models get 4 or 5 stars in Euro NCAP. So basically if i have education, but somebody else does not then its my fault that i died in a car crash and my car couldn't save me?
Fumble while answering about the safety speaks a lot about how much do they care about build quality & occupant safety... Crumple zone is quite outdated reason uncle, kindly come with a new digestable terminology to safeguard your stand towards maruti suzuki's overall seriousness & footsteps about safety...😆😆
What bs answer he gave for maruti using thin sheets of metal and its not like they do well in safety tests that you can make up an answer like that and then it lead to him talking about education in safety as if someone intentionally does an accident or something
Hey #PDArmy, show some love and hit 👍 to cheer for the video!

I felt this conversation is more like an enthusiastic entrepreneur speaking with sarkaari officer. Should stop dreaming about turbo swift

So they didn’t ask the most important question
The safety features they have incorporated is amazing
Enlightening interview. Shashank San has a radical way of impacting the world.
Its surely the best in the business when it comes to safety
There safety features have always been their top most priority
Insightful interview 👌
Maruti is nostalgia - so good to see this
There honest and genuine efforts towards the safety of vehicles are often targeted without any reason
It's truly an outstanding Brand.. Totally loved this 😍
What a powerful Interview. 👏🏿
Eagerly waiting for that one interview with Sir Ratan Tata as part of " Meet the Leaders"
100% assurance of safety we must believe to them
sir build quality kabh badhegi?
Bro plz ask him when they are going to bring safer cars with better build quality
Bhai unhone indirectly bol toh diya ki maruti's ultimate safety feature is crumple zone.
So, tough questions are not so tough as you might have thought. So give the vast network only 500 driving schools by Maruti not much also not competitive.
Can you make a similar video with Ratan Tata?
Giving u guys a thumbs up, only because u asked about Jimny. Hpong to go from Wagon R to Jimny

Same thing GM and Toyota did in USA and now Tesla is selling hot cakes.
If Tata can do nexon in 18 months what is stopping MS to atleast give one EV.
Great informative video 🔥💥💯, Thank you Powerdrift for this, this will help us to improve technical knowledge about cars.
I really love the interview and this interview is very much inspiring for all ❤️

This is India's best car company
What a wonderful video safety should be top priority
Very good content
I am a huge fan this.
That's why Swift and others got 1 star safety rating
This is extraordinary content.
Its amazing Interview 👍
Maruti is best company for us of safety is big reason
Bahut acha interview hai yeh, I like it..

We should always follow the rules of road and that's only way to be safe from accident

Safety is important
love to get a turbo petrol engine
Speech volume too low guys
Maruti gave us safety first , if I like maruti
Ask him to drop a turbo swift or a turbo ignis, and forget it.. The sales figures will not let him forget the same, assured for sure!!!
You guy's should have never asked question to this uncle about Maruti's build quality & occupant safety...

Marutis sita raman on safety. Dollar is strong.
Love these videos
Good vedio loved itt
Safety ke liye yah bahut jaruri hai kam humhre liye
Kitna bhi justification de do sir Maruti ki car to hai Kamzor
Baat ghuma kr aap company k liye to badhiya ho jayenge logo k liye nahi
Did they ask any questions about safety?? Otherwise he wouldn’t have accepted for interview with that safety discussion
Maruti has the best security then the others
Which universe are you from?

Maruti gets dragged for no reason
Do you even know how many people Re dying by accidents.
I believe there’s a market for Jimny 3 door as well.
LoL! 0 NCAP rating talking about crumple zones.
Although agree with him completely on EVs in India.
Turbo petrol Swift 👍👍

Rest all is great but when it came to safety question, he smoothly distracted with an irrelevant answer.
