    Mughith’s heart had to be broken in order for there to be a Fiqh ruling for the benefit of the Ummah. Palestinians have to suffer in order for the current Ummah to wake up from our slumber. Sometimes Allah SWT uses people as tools to improve the Ummah. May they all be rewarded for their hardship and suffering.

    This teaches another important lesson too. When someone decides to leave you never beg them to stay...never beg them to love you...this never works. Let them go. Prophet (saw) knew this❤

    SubhanAllah! what a practical and beautiful deen Allah swt has blessed us with and how wonderfully our beloved Prophet (SAW) and his Sahabas lived it and had shown us that the society can exist by following Shariah, which is a way of peace in this life and a sadaq-e-jaariya for hereafter. Thank you Shaykh for the reminder.

    In this day and age when Muslim girls from chicago not considering boys from other cities and vice versa. In this day and age when immigration status decides to get married or stay married or not. In this day and age where Muslim rate of divorce is highest compared last several centuries giving more reasons to get depressed from spouse doesn't make sense especially considering that Muslims in west are not mature enough feel entitled and unwilling to compromise.

    no one thought to pay for mugheeths freedom at the time to help save his health, marriage etc??
    also was he freed in the end, did he remarry and what happened to the child??
    this story is incomplete

  • @gibgib4007
    @gibgib4007 Před 5 měsíci +1

    This is distortion. Free women are not allowed to leave a marriage. Only a judge can annull and classically only for specific reasons. Barira as a slave had an option when freed. That does not apply to any woman today and classically faskh is only given by a judge for very specific reasons. This is liberalising of our religion to make it seem otherwise.

      I'm not sure how accurate your statement is as I do remember coming across a story of a sahab couple separating bcz the wife was simply not getting along with the husband may ALLAAH be pleased with them...
      In any case, did you know that in saudi "sharia" courts allow faskh by any member of the wife's family, EVEN IF THE WIFE & HUSBAND DID NOT WANT FASK/TALAQ, based on "incompatibility of the castes of the tribes of the husband & wife!!" & they attribute that to a story about omar radiya ALLAAHU anhu which shk al-huweini has stated was a false story & even questioned how any muslim can even believe such claims about the second khalifa omar radiya ALLAAHU anhu... just saying

      @@KASERQARNashaytaan
      You need to cite references. But if you are referring to the well know incident where the woman who recently got married could not bear her new husband then this is an example of separation by agreement as the text of the hadith make clear. There was a return of mahr. Khula.
      This is not the Same as faskh.
      The way YQ presents it it here can be considered deceptive.
      A judge may annul a marriage based on specific reasons but not because as YQ put it “ better options”.
      Anyone would get that impression from how he portrayed this story.
      Again, this was an example of a slave woman exercising an option after being manumitted. No free woman ordinarily has this option at all and no madhabevee said she did.

    It's hard to respect Yasir. He is not a scholar because he encourages Muslim men to commit sexual harrassment of Muslim women. He makes PR videos for Hasan Shibley and Nihad Awad. And they are both accused of sexual harassment. But Yasir wants money from Nihad. Yasir is undignified.
