    at 2:07 it is evident that the resolution at 720 is better than 1080: in the 720 the pirate has a healthy eye, while in the other the (defective) eye is blocked by the blindfold

    Buy 1440p monitor or 4K TV for gaming.
    Even without high end GPU, 1440p is best for future proofing and most of the modern TVs support upscaling.

      Actually 1440p is the best mix. The difference in sharpness compared to 1080p is big, but the fps loss isn’t

    • @crisscrossam
      @crisscrossam Před 3 lety +1

      full HD (1080p) is the current standard most widely used. most gaming PCs with hardware up to like 4 years ago can run games at this resolution. it's most common with about 20 to 25 inch monitors. smaller wide monitors will come with standard HD (between 720 and 900p) to have a sharp image relative to the screen size.

    • @marektomas9256
      @marektomas9256 Před rokem

      Well, both are lie. Full HD nor HD ready are not standards. Only marketing lie. HD standard for video is from resolution 1080 (lines) down. So HD display had to have 1080 to by call HD. Name it Full HD is nonsense. HD ready are called displays which are not HD, but are able to take HD video (and play it in 720, so in shitty pickure :( )

    Between HD and FHD was difference at recommended viewing distance at up to 65 inch almost negligible. You can't notice any difference between FHD and 4K on smaller screen then 85 on recommended distance (and even then maybe). Now 8k that would need to be at least 150 inch to make any sense. But again here we are. I my self have 27/4k monitor, 3k on my phone and i am sure you do too.

      Not for me, but I'm super picky about resolution. I can tell what resolution I'm watching no matter the screen size. I was just on the phone with Amazon complaining that one of their movies listed as streaming in Full HD was actually only HD, and he confirmed it at gave me a refund. I was sitting about 9 feet from a 55" 4k TV.

      I do not know how I can explain it. It is so smooth, and your movement is so natural. The difference is most noticeable in fast paced games like FPS games.
