Episode 8 of The Dharma Podcast mega series tracing the Marxist destruction of Indian History covers the brazen falsehoods propagated by Dwijendra Narayan Jha (D.N. Jha), under the garb of writing Indian History.
D.N. Jha was the direct disciple of Ram Sharan Sharma, who has been exposed in Episode 3 of this series.
Among all Marxist distorians, D.N. Jha is the crudest and the most brazen purveyor of naked distortions of Indian History. seems to have had a morbid fetish to compulsively detect the use of beef and liquor in ancient India. His offensive and crass book titled "The Myth of the Holy Cow" is a shameless assault against the most sacred beliefs of the Hindu community.
D.N. Jha's other full-time obsession was the peddling of hatred against Brahmins. He has written miles and miles of hate speech against Brahmins. In fact, he has authored a full-length book unambiguously titled "Brahmanical Intolerance in Early India," a litany of Brahmin abuse.
If that was not enough, D.N. Jha has also characterised Hindu deities in an extremely perverted and vulgar fashion in his book, "Adulterous Gods and their inebriated women."
That apart, Jha has distorted the history of the Gupta Empire using dubious methodology and has thereby drawn wild conclusions. He has force fitted Marxist Theories to areas of Indian history that do not lend themselves to such theories.
D.N. Jha has also earned notoriety for his flagrant denial of Bakhtiyar Khalji's savage destruction and burning of the ancient Nalanda University.
Thanks to the Marxist stranglehold over institutions, D.N. Jha's books were prescribed by the NCERT as history textbooks for schoolchildren for decades. In plain language, D.N. Jha was responsible for destroying at least two generations of Indians in their formative years.

the sad thing is so many people/organizations opposed him but perhaps nobody challenged him that what he had written was baseless.And he very comfortably told that he couldn't murder the history & ESCAPED.
This series is very revealing series. It reveals how the indic ethos and true history was murdered. These people should be exposed on tv and tried in the courts giving them the ultimate penalty. But then same is the case with Indian judiciary

Extremely delighted to hear the same feeling while reading his books being a student of history of DU in the beginning decade of 1990. I hated this guy after reading his books. Lost interest in history, changed track for survival. Felt what these people are made up of by writing these fictions as i come from a village and see the paaterns there totally mismatch with what was being taught. Devils of hell must be roasting his soul everyday..
Because knowledge was limited to brahmins, nobody rebelled against them. The masses were never educated to question the things they were taught.
