Sorry I missed if you said 4K is a minimum. Is there a minimum?
@@TrggrWarning They accept these resolutions: 1920x1080,
2048x1080, 3840x2160, 4096x2160,
4096x2304, 3996x2160, 4800x2700,
1080x1920. I recommend 4k if possible though as that is what most people will want.
Wirestock link is not open
Why don't I have Mov or D-cinelike options in my settings on the smart rç anybody, iv no pc or laptop
Brilliant! Thanks Matthew, exactly what I needed to know.
Hi, Mathew. Thanks for the video, well explained. Thanks
Iâve been waiting for this one đ
Hope it helps!
Well done video mate, as usual đđđ€
Thank you, appreciate that!
Excellent video as always and Matthew is always very clear, my experience of wirestock are they are very very very slow and unless you open an account I think you will be waiting a long time as it seems everyone is now uploading and that's a good thing, but it also floods the market.
Thanks for the tip mate ! Signed up !
Awesome, let me know how it goes!
Really useful. Thanks so much đ
Hope it helps, thanks for watching.
THANK YOU! great video
You're welcome! Hope it helps!
Very interesting Matthew, who decides the price of each clip?
Great Video! Thanks! For someone with good footage that uploads regularly. How much can you make on average, min - max?
Thanks for this! Got my part 107 coming up in the States. Be great to get the backlog sellin itself.
Awesome, hope this video helps! Thanks for watching.
Thanks Matthew
great sir..thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
The problem with wirestock and video clips is it takes them weeks to even review them and that is only the first stage.
BlackBox is much faster and pays better too IMO
Whatâs the whole name of the black stock app? Iâm trying to find it
But BlackBox wants you to upload your government issued photo ID to their site for some reason?! A good way to get your identity stolen.
Hi, nice & informative video! Is it ok to upload videos that have been monetized on your own CZcams channel? Cheers
Thanks for this informative video mate.
When you say Wirestock take 15% commission is that on top of any commission from other platforms such as Pond 5 etc or do the other platforms NOT take a commission on footage provided through Wirestock?
I'm a bit confused about property release, If I have a video that has a Cathedral in the background, along with many other recognisable buildings, I need to get a release from every building?
A very helpful vid, Matthew. Thanks for sharing. It's certainly something I'd like to look into.
Do you ever add music / sound effects to stock footage? Cheers Matthew.
Best wishes, Brian Blake
Hey Brian, hope this video helps! I wouldn't add any sound effects to stock no, you want to just upload the footage with no sound.
@@TheDroneCreative Thanks
Thank you so much Mattheww for this tutorial video. Really appreciate it. I will register to wirestock thru' the link this video. Best regards. đđ€
Thanks for watching, and hope the video helped!
Great In-depth video âđŒ Just what I needed to see as I have a ton of 4k drone videos that I can use.
How quick are Wirestock at approving and releasing the footage?
Took them 2 weeks one time to approve a photo of mine lol
How many videos would you say one needs to upload to begin to see some downloads?
Hi Matthew! Thanks for this. Quick question: I already have accounts in many stock platforms. Is it possible to merge all of the existing accounts in Wirestock?
Thank you so much for the video! This will help me make some money at uni. Getting my 107 next year!
Hope it helps, thanks for the kind feedback and taking the time to comment!
I don't have telegram - also is this real?
@@trufortune6771 this is a scammer. Please ignore.
@@TheDroneCreative great, thanks!
great video Mattheww!
quick question, do you use any nd filters on the video you upload on wirestock?
Hey! I usually do yeah. Most of the shots I take have ND filters being used but it's not a requirement to use/ or not use them. The main thing is making sure your shots are as good as you can make them.
@@TheDroneCreative thanks a lot!
The images must be color edited or it is better to post them as we took them ?
wait im confused, you said I had to get a release form for any person or recognizable place? how do i get the release form for a place???
does wirestock compress or downgrade your video quality on the submission screen? I shot my clips in 2.7k and when uploaded to for approval, it looks like its 360p
Thanks for the precise and informative video! Very helpful! Does wirestock own your footage when uploaded or they just get the 15%? Just don't want to lose my shots
you still own the rights
Does wirestock decide the price?
Does anyone know if this would be considered flying for commercial use? Requiring a Part 107 in the USA to do something like this with my drone?
I connected the ftp and it uploaded but doesnât show up anywhere. Is it just slow?
will i earn the same if I upload it to wirestock instead of shutterstock, getty, etc, directly????
what will happen if I upload 2k videos? that is the max resolution my drone allows me to use
The US you have to have a part 107 certificate in order to make money no matter what it is that makes money with a drone I'm currently trying to get the part 107 certificate
I still don't know how you manage to get such amazing footage. I have an Air2S and mine always looks washed out, or the colours don't quite look right. Been trying manual and auto for ages and never managed to see anything like the footage you show here.
A few quick tips are that adding saturation in post, lowering highlights and raising shadows a little always make the footage look much better!
Try different luts
Record in D-Log
Have they made a lot of changes in 10 month? I cant choose Editorial or Commercial? I cant use keywords? This looks nothing like my Wirestock?!
What frame rate do you use? 24 or 30?
same question here
i can't open an account in wire stock, all the time I tried to open it refused me, even tried VPN. I am from Bangladesh.
So is it worth exporting each clip twice once as MP4 and once as MOV and putting both of them on
No, not if the clip is the same. Just pick a format and use that. Hope that helps!
@@TheDroneCreative thanks
It sounds good but they (wirestock) take so long time for reviewing , i bet if i install back the app might still not be published things i uploaded
wire stock isn't opening
What do you do if you have a drone clip from a overviewing a city and in the shot you can see a lot of company names. Do you need to get permission of all these global companys?!
How the revenue earned will be transferred to my bank account if I am not a US resident?
PayPal is the usual way
Matthew, I have not got answers from you?
Is it worth doing a complete colour correction/ grade on the same clips as well to sell as different stock or is it worth just keeping mostly unedited?
I would say that if you shoot in d-cinelike then yes, uploading that and your colour corrected clip is worthwhile as it gives the buyer a chance to colour grade to their taste. However if your just adding saturation to the normal colour profile then it's probably just best uploading that one clip. Hope that helps!
Excellent Videos! Love your channel, Keep them coming! I have a few questions:
1. Can you upload and sell the High-Res Photos created by your drone or just videos?
2. If yes, is the process the same?
3. Does Wirestock require exclusivity of your uploaded approved videos?
4. How often does Wirestock pay on your sales? Adobe has some bogus BS, that you have to obtain a certain dollar amount before they will pay you. I sold a clip on Adobe-Stock for $70.00 and never got paid for it because I did not sell enough volume within a certain time period, This may have changed, But it sucked!
I should get my Mini 3 Pro this week, Yeah! Can't wait!
Did u get your drone?
I'm also super excited for my new mini 3 pro to arrive!
@@rohanalnahian7651 Yes I did, UPS lost it but then found it, 10 days instead of 5 like normal!
So complicated! Why can't it be easier?
Yeah and all you have to do is pay thousands of dollars for a license that lets you make money off of your footage, instead of the ten dollar basic license fee....at least in Canada.
I just deleted my wirestock account, itâs useless. I found better to upload directly onto stock sites.
Prepare for selling at $0.03 cents at Wirestock -
I have to say I think wirestock is the same as other platforms.............. a complete waste of time.......... they never get round to approving images....... you could simply die waiting....... đ€Š
Itâs nonsense. Think of all the footage you have now compare that to professional people doing the same. Still think your footage will sell? Letâs say you have great sellable footage. There is editing. Ok so you get that figured out when again professional people are doing the same thing but far better. Wirestock is NOT what he is suggesting. NOT EVEN CLOSE. If you are not posting fully legitimate professional pictures or videos you have zero chance of being found amongst the professionals that are. They just donât except anything less than a very high standard that is near impossible to reach for anyone near beginner status. I understand you need content for your videos but find an honest way please.
Subscribed in free, uploaded 4 videos for a try.... almost 10 days "in review".... not so fast the review... ;) wait a bit more then i ll quit
@Marc just using only pond5
earning 10% of YOUR stock footage while Wirestock keeps 90% sounds like a pretty poor deal to me :)
Wirestock take 15% commission on earned royalties. So if your photo sells for $2 on a stock agency, you will get $1.70 and they will earn $0.30.
that 10% is YOUR earnings on whoever YOU refer to wirestocks earnings....
I am waiting to get an email response from Wirestock support. For one, the web pages are very different from the ones shown in this video. After successfully uploaded 4 clips with Filezilla I cannot figure out how to get to a Wirestock page that will show me thumbnails or give me the option to fill in keywords and other information for each . . .
Can you upload videos that are on your facebook or instagram?
Yes because they won't even be 1080p most likely.
It's a good plan to upload 16:9 to the agency but only put 1:1 + 720x720 on social media
