You wanna know what OST was my favorite in World? The generic Guiding Lands combat theme. My friend and I went into it together for the first time and didn’t come out until three hours has passed because we were just JAMMING SO HARD YEAH.
If we are talking about map specific themes, I have to go with either frozen seaway or deserted island. Hoarfrost is up there but these take the top because of nostalgia value.
I unironically love bazel's theme. You get to hear the POV of the monster thinking it's the hero. As well the rise version of Chameleos its got that original goffy Japanese feel. Edit: Second in the running lets get to first brothers.
Super underrated one is Nargacuga’s theme. World narga theme is the best theme in the series imo, from the piano jutting in at the start, to the pokke village references at the end. The og one sounds great too, and even the one from the 21st anniversary goes hard with it’s James Bond style opening. The only outlier is rise’s but even that one is good
so glad seeing my boy nergi get some love. that dude got slept so hard by the fanboys just cuz Capcom was building him as the next big boy. he's pretty much godzilla in lore now but fanboys will always thrash him down ignoring his feats like he's nothing. there might not be any bull looking monsters but with them, Spanish bull horns, how he fights with brute strength alone, how he's stubborn by nature and unstoppable in anything he wants to do, he has the will of a Taurus bull power! 👊

The zinogre's theme is one of my absolute favorite tracks because of the high paced beat and the zinogre during the fight Essentially being a rampaging beast with strong swift attacks along with its dragon or electric bugs depending if its a stygian zinogre or not.
And then there's the ones that listen to Rajang's theme. Oh they're not at the gym or anything, but you may find them walking around arms to the side just vibing
yea i went through a period almost exactly like this, just listening to zinogre's theme on loop every time i worked out. eventually, i added raging brachydios' theme to the loop as well; combining his "normal" theme and the music that plays when u mount him is 👌
My first experience with Zinny was in World and I got my ass rocled after that sequence. Had no idea what Guiding Lands was and it was truly something else.
Speaking of D&D, I once had a friend ask me if he could recommend some battle music he was planning on using for boss fights in his campaign and so I gave him some monster hunter tracks. Many weeks later, his friends, non-monster hunter fans, apparently loved the music a lot and asked that I give them more.

I have a feeling we'll get the Sunbreak demo very soon after the May digital event. We'll just have to see if it comes out on pc at the same time
