For the people who complained about lack of monsters. Keep in mind this game is only about 3 monsters short from mh4U. 5th gen has come a long way.
I think their complaints were of a lack of variety (no leviathans, no insects, only 1-2 beasts, no amphibians) but I can agree that 5th gen has been amazing
@@DrPenny233 That is also a complain for people, but that's completely legitimate. Some MH fans were bugged that base world didn't have 90 plus monsters.

Dr. Penny233 honestly i wouldn’t expect more monsters than what XX has since that game was a celebration of the franchise, and as another mh youtuber gameconomist said “it was essentially supposed to be an ‘everyone is here’ type of thing”. my hopes are always high for cool new monsters, but i’m never hoping for more than 80 monsters in a base game.
It feels like a 'lack of' since every vet is already familiar with half of the monsters already, adding a new attack or 2 doesn't change that. We're just old

It sounds distorted probably because of that. All of it's elements are not in harmony, each trying to destroy the other. That sound is possibly the most it could do. But I still love it.
But u need to admit: the Zinogre's are the most beautiful Monsters

Quick reminder that raths and legianas have unique and terrifying roars when their teammate is on the same map
as someone who works at a zoo and has heard lots of animals, it's kinda fun listening to these and trying to figure out what animals they sampled noises from.
I hear a lot of tiger growls in these roars

Vaal Hazak's roar is one of the reasons he's my absolute favorite Monster. Even after visiting other games in the series. I cannot get enough of the vibe, the fight, the music, even the ecology. It's all so good.

Dude, Alatreon's roar is so unique, I love it.
Not only its roars, but all the Odogaron sounds are absolutely iconic and it the monster so perfectly. The best sound design is when I can close my eyes and see the monster, and Odo is one of the many that fits that bill so well
MHW is my first MH and I gotta say, I can see the monsters while listening to it sounds with my eyes closed. I guess I'm spending too much time on the game lol

Man I wish I could play this game for the first time again, it was the first game I genuinely got hooked on. Especially when you first get to the coral highlands, it feels like avatar almost, just so different but almost cozy in that your overwhelmed with the urge to explore. In my top all time games list
Bazelguese is my favourite, with Legiana a close second. Both are wonderfully distinctive, but Bazel's is brutal af

@@Ekolite Compared to the almost human-like, haunting scream Fatalis did at the 15th anniversary video, his in-game growlings were kinda..... underwhelming ._.
Vaal Hazak’s roar, in my opinion is the best roar in the game, just look at his terrifying look, and that roar while you see him charging after you fits him perfectly, that’s why he’s my favorite.

@@TheRevenant4585 Yep xDD I think it's pretty cool, rather than it being another subspecies, as with other monsters. It adds to the unique living ecosystem feeling this game has. Wish I could know more about other species
@@sorchatheraven Actually I completely agree. It’s funny, bit it’s also a nice touch. Really makes the world feel more realistic, like the way animals are IRL. Males and females don’t always look the same in every species and they certainly can have different behaviors depending on the season. I like the attention to detail in the world building.

I love the way the monsters are animated and how they roar, it’s really well done and I feel that monsters have a lot of personality. Monsters in MH aren’t just NPCs and brutes, they’re like characters with their own personality and you get to know them really well because we fight them so many times and somehow it doesn’t get boring
The roars of these beasts are just as iconic as the roars of any of Toho's kaiju.
Few things can make my blood run cold. But the roar of the alatreon does.

The roars for World are fantastic, even if a few of them are underwhelming... but I am greatly disappointed with the Zinogre. It had its soul of a ferocious monster torn out of its roar and replaced with generic wolf howls.
The Zinogre roar in its intro cutscene sounds like the old ones but for some reason they didn't use ingame just like Seething Bazelgeuse also had one in the cutscene

Yeah, I've warmed on Rathalos' new roar (Though I still prefer the old one, the new one is still a good sound), but Zinogre's roar is just BAD.
