Phil Spector (1939 - 2021) is undoubtedly the single most important and influential producer in the history of rock music, his "Wall of Sound" stands as a milestone in recording history. He was a world-famous record producer, label executive, song writer and a multi-millionaire all by the age of 21. He has written or produced many of the classic hit songs of our time with artists such as The Beatles, John Lennon, George Harrison, The Righteous Brothers, The Ramones, The Ronettes, Ike and Tina Turner, The Teddy Bears, The Crystals, The Paris Sisters, Darlene Love, Leonard Cohen, Dion, and Ben E. King. His honors include producing eighteen U.S. Top 10 singles, the 1973 Grammy Award for Album of the Year, a 1989 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a 1997 induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, #63 on Rolling Stone Magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time", and "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin" produced by Spector was ranked by BMI as the most-played song on American radio and television in the 20th century.
