Despite owning this for a year now, this is the FIRST time it is being shown off on my CZcams channel. What could it be?? Lionel, MTH, or something else! Well kick back and enjoy today's video!
Thank you @ChrissTrainsandThings for the cameo appearance.

The Hudson is definitely a iconic steam engine. Great work man! -RTT
Awesome Hudson!
Nice intro!
Very cool and neat trains RJ
I just watched Chris's trains with the Pennsylvania articulated locomotive we had rolling I click on to you and there he is I thought I hit the wrong button.
The sounds on that hudson are really nice! The sort of muffled sound gives the allusion of listening to old tapes of the real engines, love it.
Beautiful locomotive, RJ! I agree, although I am pretty much a diesel man, I do love the NYC Hudsons. Merry Christmas, RJ!
Great show RJ!
We can forgive you that little bit of wishful thinking of NY Central steam running through Deer Park, but on my side of the Hudson in North Jersey NYC steam was VERY much in evidence on the old West Shore Line. Just about everything in NYC steam showed up there at one time or another with the exception of the 4-6-6 tank engines. Even an occasional Niagara pulling a Army-Navy Game special from West Point!
Steam's long gone from the West Shore (with the exception of the American Freedom Train during the Bicentennial) and even the name is changed, now it's the CSX River Subdivision. But the tracks still run where they always have.
Oh, I see that PRR vs. NYC rivalry is still ongoing! No wonder they called the Penn Central merger "A marriage made in Hell!"
Looking forward to the next show! One home run after another! 🤩
Thanks for featuring those awesome K-Line models in another great video, RJ. The NYC #5343 Hudson truly is a beautifully detailed model. K-Line was my favourite O gauge manufacturer and I've missed their work greatly. You've done a great service to their memory by featuring their work during this special time of year. Have a great holiday season.
Thanks!!!
Thank you RJ for all the work you do in setting up scripting ,taping, editing..sometimes we forget all that , but know your friends appreciate all you do..
When you insert video it's hard to tell sometimes the video from your pieces..
Yours are beautiful.
Rodney! Lol nice Hudson
No PA RR on the layout? Come on now. Play nice guys. LOL That is a beautiful Hudson RJ. Thanks for sharing with us.
Excellent choice RJ, especially since it was also a K-line. Great whistle on that thing - I need to find the K-line equivalent Santa Fe version.
When I think of trains....I see a Hudson. An all time favorite since I was a young lad....lots of wonderful memories.
You'd better call some paramedics....looks like an altercation over a parcel at Deer Park Station. 😄
Great video RJ. Always enjoy seeing yours. I have to agree, one of my fav is also the K line scale Hudson. The other being the Lionel Reading T1 Northern. Keep up the great vids.
Everyone Has Their favorite Trains. On All Scales Steam Or Diesel.
That intro tho
RJ, the station platform has a Deer Park sign. Is that Deer Park, Maryland?
(Tom here.)
I notice a Church in the layout right next to the train track. Would that scenario really be in real life? I guess it could be if no trains ran on Sunday mornings between 8am and Noon. That would be a great thing, but not realistic, really. But, l digress, what does this rambling have to do with your great train layout and run you have video-taped for us? Sorry for my ramblings, R.J. !!!! I apologize, sir!!! Great video, as always, R.J. !!!!
Such a shame New York Central didn’t preserve a single Hudson or Niagara. Least models still exist.
Someone should do a brand new build on a Niagara like there doing with the Pennsylvania T1
@@tobyyoder8350 Hard to say if that’ll ever happen unfortunately. Building steam locomotives is extremely expensive and time consuming. Also the steam era is just history now.
This locomotive reminds me of a certain someone. @RBPTrains😛
