When Karen goes down really low at the end it sounds so wonderful..I always liked that bit listening as a 9 yr old kid on the radiogram, I'd play iy over and over.

Thanks for the heart, FuzzyAllan! I grew up down the street from where she and Richard would sometimes practice. The father of my brother's good friend in the late 60's was Bob Messenger. Too bad I was only about 6 - 7 years old at that time and I didn't realize how wonderful their music was and would become. I have a very special place in my heart always for Karen Carpenter.
