The Spiritual Vision Model Explained

Introduces the Spiritual Vision Model and its key assumptions. This is in contrast to the biblical New Creation Model discussed in another video of ours. The Spiritual Vision Model focuses narrowly on the individual and spiritual but does not rightly grasp all God is doing to restore His creation, including its material and corporate aspects.

Robert L. Saucy briefly addresses the neo-Platonic elements of amillennialism (one type of spiritual vision model) in his book, _The Case for Progressive Dispensationalism: The Interface Between Dispensational and Non-Dispensational Theology._ Abandoning the concept of an earthly, physical Millennial Kingdom, and turning the New Earth into a purely incorporeal existence, are very dualistic ideas.

Thank you for explaining these models. The Spiritual Vision model seems very impoverished and also makes physical resurrection virtually unnecessary! It definately explains why some have considered my understanding of Heaven to be too literal and carnal. Won't they be suprised!!!
