    When I get back to this and use this every day at least once if not more times it’s wonderful how much better my eating is. I have been doing tapping for at least 15 years and I like your video very much for the overheating. Thank you.

    What I really like about this as opposed to other "self help" videos is it doesn't discount bad feelings. It integrates them in order to change them.

    Julie, I am doing this tapping routine every morning and it’s really helping. I’m going to add one on for sweets too.

    Meal no. Snacking absolutely. I have a very bad sugar addiction. People don't realize that I jonze for pastries, cookies just like a drug addict or alcoholic (which I am recovering). I just switched addictions. Thank you Julie.

    Thank u Julie 4 yr well thought through, pregnant with triggers, script. I remember the strict eating discipline administered onto me growing up, from being beaten 2 eat certain quantities and items at set times. Food became my addiction, as well as the control over it, when eating turned into its toxic shadowside (bulimia).
    Yr selfless service 2 humanity is deeply appreciated 🙏❤

    I sometimes overeat just because I like the texture and mouthfeel of a food. Not sure what that’s about. It’s not hunger, boredom, or that stuff… I wish I could understand what is behind that. It’s not emotional comfort…it’s the sensation I like so much. I guess I could spit the food out after but that’s weird too. I want to eat it because I simply enjoy it but I get fat as a result 😢the thing is, the food I’m overeating is healthy food. I don’t eat processed sugary treats and pastries etc. I barely eat sugar. I don’t drink soda, etc. it’s so weird

    Hi Julie. Thanks for your video. This has been a serious struggle for me my entire life and I just feel absolutely defeated. I do have a couple questions. This is all completely new to me and I'm willing to try anything. When you are tapping the lower part, where are you tapping? Also, since you are using your left hand (didn't notice that till after doing the video) should I be using my left had as well? And then the wrist humping at the end, I wasn't able to see that.
    Is there a video you have that shows all the tapping locations?
    Thank you so much.

    • @Julieschiffman
      @Julieschiffman  Před 2 lety +1

      The under arm point is a few inches down from your armpit. Looks a bit like a monkey :)
      You can tap with the right hand, left hand or both hands. The wrist points are both inside wrists tapping together. Like where a woman might put perfume on. I did have a video tutorial but it was on another platform. Will be making a new one :)

    When I did this specific tapping my arm that I used for tapping became so painful and strained so quickly that I had to keep pausing to rest it. Is this related to the exercise in any way

    • @Julieschiffman
      @Julieschiffman  Před rokem +2

      Try tapping gently or lightly. See if that makes a difference- you don’t have to tap hard. Or you can hold the points and breathe… let me know if that helps. 😊
