- Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Heartgold and Soulsilver using only Dragon types?
Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
Always Set mode
No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
No overleveling the next gym leader

Do a SM Ice-only nuzlocke. You get to do the first island with just a Delibird that only knows Present.
Edit: And apparently most of the second island as well, since he apparently can't use the Eevee and needs to beat Kiawe to get access to a Cloyster.
Edit 2: I just learned that there _are_ some useful TMs at the beginning that Delibird can learn. Maybe this'd actually be possible lol

Actually I want to see Pokemon Brilliant Diamond Nuzlocke using only dual typed Fire Pokemon. If that sounds too painful for you, try out Pokemon Omega Ruby using only dual typed fighting Pokemon. GLHF!

I think it was a bold move to make a special attacker out of a Dratini and Dragonair with a Special Attack lowering nature
This man is a mad lad.
He does stuff I didn't even knew was possible to get specific pokemons and all that walk only for a normal Dratini.
Which could get killed and make him restart everything.

Could’ve added a Light Dragon as well, Swablu swarms can be found on route 45 post National Dex
Technically you could’ve had a Light Dragon too, as Altaria is available, with Swablu being found on Route 45 through swarms after the national Pokédex

Nuzlocke runs are super chill to watch. Idk, every run is pretty fun and it’s awesome to be able to vicariously live your experience even though I would absolutely explode with rage if I wiped to some dumb trainer

Heartgold may be my favorite, but the leveling is so slow, the fastest grinding I know of is throwing myself into the elite four. Makes me wish I still had that action replay cartridge.

You know with the red fight you can change your game clock to a specific day of the year which turns the hail into a unique weather event called diamond dust which essentially for battle purposes does nothing and makes reds blizzards not 100% accurate

Here's a little life hack to make Red easier! On the following dates:
-February 29th (cuz leap year) -March 15th (cuz Japanese holidays) -October 10th (release date of Pokémon Blue) -December 31st (cuz New Year's)
The Hail gets replaced with Diamond Dust, dropping the Blizzard accuracies to their pathetic 70, making them a bit less threatening! :)
