I will absolutely experiment with this idea of painting on a printed copy using various color combinations! Thank you Mary!
I got John's book, and started experimenting on a full sheet of watercolor paper sectioned off in grids using different limited palettes. It's amazing how many variations you can get.

You probably know this but I wanted to point out an alternative to the lamp black that you are using here.
If you use mars black with the Zorn example, you can use it as your blue (lamp black is warmer than mars black)
Watching from Scarborough, Maine in my chair.

Enjoying this from Moraga California
Thank you so much for great advice
Will be watching this one. I’m trying to stick to limited palettes and want to know more about the emotional affects of colour choices. Always wanted one or two of those brush clips but I’m guessing that won’t be possible as I live in the uk. That aside, looking forward to this one ✨👍🏼✨

Hi Me in New Zealand thx for videos.just one ask .could it be possible for your artists to state the pigment ID as well as the colour they use.be so helpful matching.si many paint company's with a lot of different pigmepent names for the same pigment number example "I use cad red light pr108 ." Just a thought so frustrating matching a colour with no identifier thx
