I live in Strasbourg. just a little flaw is that you only showed the "touristy places" of the city, there are many neighborhood that are really interesting like the "presqu'ile malraux", also the european parliament.
For those who are interested in :
Alsace is a special region because it has switched from being French to German and back to French etc 4 times in less than 200 years. So this region is basically a mix culture of France and Germany. That's why you'll find typical Germanic buildings along with French neo-classical or 1st empire Buildings.
Another fun fact : The French national anthem "La Marseillaise" was first sang in Strasbourg and was written for the army that was defending Alsace against Austrian and Prussian invasion. :)
You are so lucky you live in Alsace France!
boo with the european parliament.
@Chad Conley Chad from Iowa: can't say as I agree withcha
@Far Out Man its a french city
we are not just some mixed germans with french, elzassers are a people, Elzass is our land, and elzassich is our language.
Just pick any region to visit next! I don't think you'll be disappointed anywhere. I've visited Normandie, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Occitanie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and (of course) Île-de-France, and they've all been gorgeous. It's my dream to visit every region of France.
A feast for the eyes! And that drone footage 👌 ma belle you did well! I love this region, and it’s wine! I got ancient family roots there it warms my heart to see it ❤️ merci 💋
Not Even French exquisite 😍💋💋💋 a pleasure to watch! Love your travel vlogs
My ancestors are from the Alsace Region; thank you for showing how beautiful it is. Really enjoying all your videos...
My Ancestors are also from Alsace. This year i explore this beautiful place and made a Video from it.
Mine too! They left in 1732 to escape the catholics burning and killing the Calvin's.
Mine too. Maybe we are all cousins!
Come in Normandie !!! One of the richest region historically speaking, sunny place, beautiful and relaxing landscapes, nice people and amazing food ;-)
Lovely! I cycled through Alsace earlier this year! I think the towns and landscape along the wine route make it one of the most beautiful places on Earth!
Great video. Beautiful and very educational. Alsace-Lorraine used to belong to Germany before it went to France. My father's German side lived there before immigrating to Canada in early 1900's. I would love to see a video on Lorraine. Merci.
I can't wait to visit here soon! I love your videos!
Thank you so much for this splendid video of my region! I’m super proud and glad that you appreciated!! I hope that you won’t have anything against the fact that I use it to show my foreign accointances how beautiful it is 🙏
Always had been curious for this region ✨✨✨
Wow, What a delightful video of the region. I must get to see the Alsace region soon. Suggestion - The Loire Valley with castles are really worth the time and money. I was in the Loire Valley last year and toured a lot of the castles, well worth the trip. We stopped in Tours, as a base and looked at four castles per day. I do not recommend that you do that unless you you have a very short time to view the major "must see" castles and chateaux.
i leave in Tours, and yes i recomand you to come and visit, they r "chateaux" and little city near like Amboise (with leonard de vinci musee www.vinci-closluce.com/fr), and very good wine, so if one day you decide to come, you can ask me for things to do or visit :p
(sry for my bad english :( )
You are the cutest tour guide in the world
I was born in strasbourg, it's beautiful !
I can't believe I did not know you were in Strasbourg! You should come back, there are so many things to visit that one days is not enough! :) (like the European district, Orangerie, the old university...)
For the next video you should visit Compiègne, Pierrefond and Chantilly in Picardie, and Arras and Lille in Nord-Pas-de-Calais
So excited to watch and get inspired for a trip to Strasbourg, Colmar, and Lyon in November!
Rosie, thank you so much for the beautiful video. I had no idea how beautiful the Alsace region is. I have never been to France but hope to visit some day. For now
I am seeing France through your
eyes. Merci, merci, from Boston, Massachusetts, USA
Boston has a nice railway station? ( like Apt- in Peter Mayle's books of Provence
2:33 "hey gays" lmao
Hey, Rosie!
Heard that🤭
Thank you for taking us along! 💙🇫🇷
le château du Haut-Koenigsbourg dans lequel le film La Grande Illusion de Jean Renoir a été tourné pour les extérieurs en 1937. Très joli reportage merci :-))))
Nice video.. God bless always. From the 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
It’s my home town !!!!
I live near Colmar !!!
Say wallah ?
I want to say something it should say "Exploring Germany"
Non ! D'abord c'est la mienne !!!
My ancestors hometown! 🙂
Merci d'être venue à Strasbourg, contente que ça t'ai plu ! :-)
I was there 4 days ago 😍😍😍 it’s really sooo beautiful I love it!!!
So happy you enjoyed Strasbourg !! 🙌🏻😘
Every time I see a video of someone traveling, it makes me want to go there. My wallet says no but my heart says "what the hell are you waiting for?". #FeelsBadMan
(And BTW, didn't I tell you exactly that a few months ago: If one wants to understand what makes France so special, you HAVE to visit every region. There is a lot to be said about food, cities, languages, and landmarks all over the country. It's like visiting a different country every time, I'm glad you're doing it and I hope you'll enjoy it!) :)
Beautiful! I can't wait for your next adventure.
Lovely area, good camera work and editing, thank you for excellent content always. : ) : )
Just came back to Aus after living in Colmar for 9 months and this is making me soooo homesick for Alsace!
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Wow that look's amazing! I must visit there one day...
Wìlkummen :)
So cute. Thanks! I want more vlogs in France. It's really beautiful near of Aix-en-Provence too
Hi !I'm from Turckheim, not that far from Colmar and I study history of art in Strasbourg :DI'm really happy that you enjoyed your trip in Alsace ^^ Be sure to visit Turckheim next time, it's an old medieval town.Anyway, beautiful video !
Visited Colmar and Riquewihr last year during December. Quite nice with the Christmas decoration.
Be sure to visit KAYSERSBERG when you go back to the Colmar area. A short walk to the ruined Château at the top of the hill is fun and the village itself is so perfect! We spent some days in the tiny village of Turckheim and loved it there too
Strasbourg is my hometown..you are always welcome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aix en Provence next! Beautiful video, thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked our region ! I support the Loire valley idea, but several castels a day is much more that I'd like to do. When we were young, me and my wife, we saw only one each day, and then spent the rest of the day at a swimming pool, for example, or other cool activity.
Come back in Winter, this is great too.
Lovely vidéo. Thanks !!!
That was awesome!!! Thank you!!
Superbe vidéo ! J'aurais suggéré Pays Basque pour la prochaine fois mais non en fait, il faut garder le meilleur pour la fin 😉
Very beautifully shot!
Nice, Eze, Antibes, Monaco, st. Tropez, then into Provence.... trust and believe 😉🤗
very nice, thanks.
This vlog is just perfect! The editing, the music! Wow haha!
It's a shame I never went there when it's only 2hours by train from where I live! 😍👏
Put Brittany on your list. La belle Bretagne. I adore that region. Will be back there in a month and can't wait. 😊
Great video Rosie! I'm still a new subscriber and I want to thank you for all your amazing content! This video allows us to travel with you and it's a really nice feeling for us! I'm French ( I'm an English teacher actually) and I really like your videos and the topics you choose to evoke! I'm excited to watch more videos about cultural shocks and some of your vlogs during the Summer time! (I didn't know the churches were that beautiful in Alsace, thank you for teaching me things about my own country lol!). I personally live near Avignon (and I love the region) but I think that you know this area already.
This is so beautiful! enjoy your life in France :)
If it'd be...
Next : try the valley of Barcelonette, in south of Alpes. It is in mountain, but with architecture from Mexic! And you have a lot of lacs. You can also see old structures of “Ligne Maginot”.
Schöne Grüße
Schoene Grueße zurueck mein Freund :D
I see the Haut Koenigsbourg everyday in my window ! :)
Loving the way you filmed. Minimal talk and lots of filming of scenery.
Next to Paris, just visit the Champagne region ! Nothing more iconic than this !! And check out the Cathedral of Reims.. I hope you enjoyed the "Choucroute"

nice to see my home town (Colmar) on your vid. I am stuck in Ireland........
Merci d’avoir suivi (ou pas) un de mes conseils donné lors d’un précédent commentaire. C’est ma région donc forcément la plus belle 😝
Awesome video. I'd love to see Normandy and Brittany.
Hey, I'm from Bordeaux's region, and I hope you found here the best dry white wine to go with your meals ! It's a nice wineyard.
Good video btw, beautiful drone shooting.
PS : Please make a vlog if you're planning to travel in on my region ;)
Those bakeries 😻
J adore Riquewihr. Un village eclatant de couleurs
Nice Video! I really love Alsace and Strasbourg (I actually got to know this region quite late, only few years ago). I'm from Brittany in the other side of the country and if you've haven't visited it yet, I strongly recommend it ^^ (although avoid winter, the weather might not be the most appropriate in this period)...
Absolutely delightful video!! Alsace is so beautiful, especially Colmar. I really loved the artful ways many of the shots were done, and the drone shots were professional quality. The music puzzled me, though. Sounded more in keeping with New Orleans than Alsace. That’s just a quibble, though. I enjoyed the video immensely. Thanks!! Fred in NYC
So excited to go next month!
Update: I'm the 100k subscriber... congrats you deserve it!
