Thing is that you pronounce them like people around pronounces them to be understood. Try to pronounce a few finnish brands like Marimekko or Nokia. Every non- finnish speaker mis-pronounces them, but are understood.

I heard that in addition to the question "should I have a kid" you can ask "do I want to be a parent?", hopefully that will give you some clarity. I grew up very emotionally neglected as a child, had many responsibilities with my family in my 20's, I only started getting to know who I truly am and living for myself in my early 30's. I started my healing journey (to heal my body and inner child) when I was 36. When I was 37, I panic (because I am getting older) so I tried for a kid, got pregnant, and had a miscarriage. When I was pregnant, I felt so much love and joy, but also so much fear and anxiety. For me the fear and anxiety were bigger than the love and joy. So I think the experience of being pregnant and having a kid is only worth it if the love and joy are bigger than any other emotion. Now at 38, I decided to focus on taking better care of myself and healing my inner child, as this seems to be a priority and my life purpose. Sometimes my decision gets swayed because people would pressuring me into having a kid. But if I sit in meditation and ask myself what I really want at this moment, the answer is "rest, care, love", the answer is not "a kid". I would say for anyone who wants a kid, once you found the right partner, then start trying early. For anyone who decided not to have kid, you can check out this CZcams channel Wife Without Kids. I think this topic should be discussed more openly so women can make the right decision without feeling shamed or pressured.

It's perfect to me that professional and private lives go in different rails. If someone wants to disclose a personal thing, he/she will.

We just finished a long stay in Europe: 5 months helping a new school open in Lvivv, one month in Krakow learning about WWII, and a month in Tallinn. Well, NZ does have wallabies. And they're a pest.

School was tough but it was definitely not memorization (other than languages and math). The French donc get tests with a,b,c,d, you are taught the subject and then when they test you, they give you a sentence and then you write a 4-8 page paper with what you’ve learned based on that sentence and you’d have 4 hours to do it. I don’t miss it lol, but I found American schooling very easy 😂

Because they don't have genetics for gaining weight. I am Croatian with Montenegrin and Italian background. I live in Edinburgh. In my family nobody has genetics for gaining weight apart from me, my sister, my cousin and my auntie. I am 5'8 per 66 kg because I am on insulin-resistance medications and appetite suppressant supplements, I have also gluten and dairy allergies. Until 2 years ago I was 83 kg. I had 4 pregnancies, and 2 c-sections, no breastfeeding. I have to count every single calorie. In France, I struggled finding non dairy food in 2015. If I ate like my husband I would be obese and with arteriosclerosis/diabetes/heart failure. He is not french but Scottish. He does not put on weight even though he eats junk food.

If those tests are that easy, I'd not accept less than C2 in ielts ... wish me luck! :)

For those who can read French, may I suggest reading a few comic books by Binet, "Les Bidochon". You will get a wider view of France and the French. You will also learn a good bit of slang with a lot of laughs.
