A Fairy Tale Land Paradise in Alsace, France

- The Alsace region of France is a fairy tale land paradise. Half-timbered architecture is unique to this area of France and it's a result of French and German cultures combined. Two of my favorite areas: La Petite France STRASBOURG and La Petite Venise in Colmar really show off that Fairy Tale Land charm. Numerous villages along The Wine Roads of Alsace (La Route des vins d'Alsace) provided a non-stop fairy tale experience. Our favorite accomodations: Le Bouclier d'Or in Strasbourg and Le Parc Hôtel Obernai & Yonaguni Spa. We absolutely enjoyed the Batorama Strasbourg. Our favorite villages along the wine route: Molsheim, Obernai, Bergheim, Ribeauville, Riquewihr, & Colmar. We also visited Buxy, Sercy, and Lyon.
This concludes a 24-day Road Trip from Nice, France to Lyon, France. I have named it The Route LyonNice, like a Lyonnaise salad.

this is where my ancestors are from, going back thousands of years!
That’s so awesome! Your ancestors come from a beautiful place on this earth.
@@JasonFranciscoVideo Thanks very much. You’re very kind! I really enjoyed your video, I learned a lot!
Riquewihr is my favorite 🥰
Riquewihr was also one of my faves! So picturesque and the vineyards provided a beautiful backdrop!
Super! Vielen Dank! ❤
Bitte schön! Glad you liked the video!!
And there is me, born in Obernai, going to the gym in the city center of Molsheim in a few minutes, looking for english content while drinking my cup of coffee and now watching your video 😅 I'm glad you appreciated our region, I've lived here my whole life but never get jaded with these stunning places and views. That's so cool you rent a car and and took the time to discover all these little gems. THIS is what I call "visiting France", versus spending one day in Paris (or any other capitale), take 150 selfies, go to Starbucks, then pretend you know this country because "you went there" 🥴 Thanks for this nice and entertaining video ! Greeting from Niederhaslach (pronounced Nidairhaslar)
Hello @clementinekirilenko2449, I absolutely loved Obernai and so cool you were born in such a charming town. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and so glad you found it entertaining, it means a lot to me! Our experience with your culture, the people, the food makes us want to return as soon as possible! Cheers!
I said the same thing when I was there. I felt like I was walking around inside of a fairytale storybook.
It is indeed a beautiful fairy tale land! Glad you agree!!
That was great! So many memories. We went through Alsace a few years ago, and as you said, it was magical. We didn't, however, do Lyon. Already added to our next trip to France!
So glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back wonderful memories!! Lyon is a fantastic city and if you’re a foodie, you’ll have amazing culinary experiences… and don’t forget to check out the upside elephant!! Keep traveling & smiling!!! ❤️✌️
Have been watching a lot of travel vlogs preparing for a large trip, including a side trip to this region. Your video editing and commentary is very entertaining and refreshing after seeing dozens of others. Thanks!
Thank you so much ❤️ and happy to hear you’ll be including the Alsace region on your trip! There’s so much to see and do. Have a wonderful trip!
Charming and witty.
🤭 Thank you!!
Very nice video! I’ll be heading to that region later this year.
Thank you so much!! I hope you have an enjoyable trip to the Alsace region. It’s absolutely gorgeous and you won’t run out of things to see and do!
I really enjoyed your video. Fun and educational too I am heading to Alsace in June
Thank you and glad you enjoyed it! There’s so much to see and do in the Alsace region. It’s so beautiful and the food & wine… soooo good! Enjoy your trip!
Great job Jason! I enjoyed it so much
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Stunning! Bravo, Jason!
Keep 'em coming.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video!
#alsace 🥰
That was awesome dude! What an amazing adventure! I want to go to Alsace now ✈️🧳 🇫🇷
Yay!! Glad you enjoyed it!❤️
Check the É at the end of Ribeauvillé (not e)…… pronunciation then a little bit different ……. By the way - merci for this great video. Come back soon!
Oops!! Thanks for catching that! Yeah, that totally changes the pronunciation. Happy to hear you enjoyed the video and I do hope to return to Alsace soon!!
@@JasonFranciscoVideo visit then also Lorraine - Luxembourg - Saarland 🌞
Thank you for the suggestions, we will definitely include them on our next trip in that area. If you have any other suggestions, they are greatly appreciated!
Music too loud...distracts from your good info
I greatly appreciate your comment and will work on balancing out the talking and music. ❤️
It looks a little too fairy tale, sugary sweet to be authentic. It's like a diabetic overdose.
Haha!! Well, you can offset that with the delicious savory foods of the Alsace region. But really, it’s a beautiful place where the countryside is dotted with charming medieval villages… so it’s doesn’t feel overwhelmingly Fairy Tale-ish.
