I love Brandi and I love Tanya - when Brandi says Tanya is 60 years old- and here I am going on 52 in less than two weeks suddenly makes me feel older than I have thought I felt prior to watching the video lol. But granted this is from two years ago I think so she is still about 10 years older than me- and 60 is not old to everyone but ourselves.
When I turned 50 I noticed one major thing that started happening more and more and more and more and that is friends and family Start dying on us quicker.
Friends my age keep dying left and right and it’s horrible and I know it’s circle of life but when my friends are dying at 48 years old 46 years old -50 years -it’s so sad because they’re so young and 50 is young even though when you had 50 or a half a century old watch does it make you feel any better.
I don’t know if it’s Buffalo New York but there’s something in the water which is didn’t like the last three years used to money and both hands to count how many friends and family that have passed in succession just one after another left and right left and right.
Most have been during the winter time which our winters have gotten worse than they ever have been- or maybe I’m just feeling arthritis pain more- which could be.
Tanya Tucker is 63 years old right now.
And I never realized it before as I’m going to be 52 in a couple of weeks she’s only 11 years older than I am I mean when we were kids we always thought anybody over 20 was old right?
I mean 60 was ancient when you’re little.
I just don’t understand why friends and family members are dying so young. And why when you turn 49,
50 & 51 friends & family seem to be dying faster and faster.
Anyone relate to this at all?
Tanya is still young and she’s still bringing in #1 records- still touring because 60 is young.

It’s when you get into your high 80s or lake my great aunt who recently passed live to be 104. She never smoked she was not a drinker she was a little Irish Catholic woman named Loretta. She believed the only thing keeping her healthy was a little shot of Irish whiskey that she had at night And every night she would spend hours with her rosary praying for everybody in bed before she went to sleep. She is terribly missed.
Well that’s my story about age and what happens when you hit that 50 year old Mark it’s very different.
