We know Mariah is a star, but man, Jamar was the breakout talent for me!! His voice was so rich and full and he ate that up vocally! Blake is so right, we need to be investing in Mariah’s future. She has this current Pop/R&B style and I love it. She gives me SZA vibes.

Jamar has that cool natural soul, that can both silence, and excite a room. Chance made the right decision.
Jamar has one of those soulful old school voices. I love his voice so much. Mariah’s voice is so ethereal! I wish they both could have stayed 😭 ♥️
Jamar just edged it out for me. His voice is so smooth with his clear and deep tone, but also can storytell and is able to deeply resonate like some of the best Soul artists of the past. His voice is something I've never really heard before, a tone so smooth that it feels almost sterile, but conveys such a feeling of warmth and character. Like Blake said, Mariah will be incredible in the future. She's already able to sound so unique and is technically sound. I think getting some miles under her belt will really bring that out even more. It feels like if she sang the song over again it'd sound completely different in a great way, that's a talent you're born with
bringing the emotion. Her tone is so distinct even in their harmonies. His voice is soulful and emotional. She climbed thru her range and he worked his falsetto. Who ready to throw something? This was a vibe. - So You Wanna Be A Singer
She reminds me a little of Macy Grey mixed with Mya, mixed with Erica B, mixed with SZA.

Jamar is more polished in his performance but Mariah has "The Gift". She simply needs more time to develop it. I was hoping that Niall would steal her until I realized he'd already used his steal. I ❤️ Mariah's voice and I hope she doesn't let this stop her. This is just a stepping stone onto greater things.

Yeah that’s the gag for me! I thought she could potentially win with the right songs. However, I think Niall and Chance only turned for her and Niall did not have a steal left like he said so that’s why I think.

Mariahs voice is a voice that I can hear on the radio, but Jamars voice has something else. It felt like a feather to me Soulful for days.

Amazing performance for both. Jamar gave me chills at the start. Mariah came in and took it to another level. At some point, I forgot this was a competition and they were just two artists doing a performance together. I can tell that they both supported each other. Jamar was just a little more mature and established. So I can see why he won. BUt Mariah, I am waiting for album.
