- I beat Pokemon Sword from start to finish in a hardcore nuzlocke using full odds SHINY Pokemon ONLY! No shiny charm, no sandwiches (because they don't exist)...
Also its my first video in a different region so I hope this was as fun for you as it was for me!

I really like how this entire time, it's just gentledude simping for Nemona in Scarlet and Violet, then travelling to Galar just to dump her for Sonia then dunk Sonia for Nessa, dang

What I liked about sword ad shield is that even when the pokemon are in the overworld, some of them are so small that they are hidden by the tall grass. It gave me that feel of how I imagined it to be when I first played pokemon, some how I did not get that from scarlet and violet
Ahh. Theres nothing more staisfying than your face bleeding fountains and you look on youtube and see a gentledude video in you recommended list instead of having to search for it and praying theres a new one. Truly a blessed day!

During my first play through of Sword I was on my way to Stow-on-Side and I had already caught a Yamask and I was already planning to use it on my team. A little later I bumped into another Yamask that made me do a double take: its. Eyes. Were. GREEN!!! At the time I wasn’t completely familiar with the Galar Pokemon and I wasn’t certain if I had seen a sparkle, so I looked it up, and sure enough it normally has purple eyes. I had found a full odds shiny of a Pokemon I had already been planning to use on my team!!! It instantly got swapped in for my the non-shiny!

Really enjoyed this video. Because you are using mods, I'm assuming that you are using a PC (it could be a modded switch), and if you are, you could either PX Hex the trade mons or I'm pretty sure there's a mod that allows you to evolve the trade evos by level up instead.

i remember a few weeks ago i was trying to get a shiny octillery, and for some reason i thought that its base form was clobbopus, so i went over to where it spawns AND I GOT IT ON MY FIRST ENCOUNTER. and then i realised clobbopus evolves into grapploct 😭
