High above the city street
We’re looking down at the space between
You’ve got a dare for the devil in me
What are we doing?
I close my eyes and in the dark I’m free
I know who I was but that’s not me
And let’s not pretend you don’t want me to leave
What are we doing?
I’ve been falling so long
I forgot what it feels like
To be alright
I’ve been falling so long
Can’t see me now
I’m never coming down
Through the noise and flashing lights
I felt the cold night air telling me new lies
And let’s not pretend you didn’t realize
What you were doing
Too late
Never the same
Too many storeys with nothing to say
So let’s not forget we’re still drifting away
What are we doing
This was never gonna be anything like love
And all I had was always too much
Or not enough
We were never gonna do anything but drown
And all I know is I’m still high in the clouds
I’m never coming down

Y'all see? It's not about changing your sound, it's about progression. 🤘
yeah thats what i love. Stay with your sound and just work on it and progress. Many bands change who they are and become complete ass, Asking Alexandria, Underoath, The 1975, and many more.
@@mentaltelepathy24 Lol yeah specially Underoath
@@adrianmoreno2354 Nah, the worst offender here is Asking Alexandria. Underoath still got some decent stuff.
To be fair, what Asking Alexandria were was terrible also.
this band deserves more recognition
If "Darling harbour" and any "This is how the wind shifts" had a song, it would be this song
This is probably one of the best albums i heard.
When I first heard Infinite I was pretty upset that I wouldn’t enjoy this album as I have the others. I gave it a chance, and after probably my seventh or eighth listen through, I’m as in love with Silverstein as I was the first time I heard Discovering the Waterfront at 15 years old. I had the most wonderful time driving to work today, blasting this in my car, remembering the good times and the people I’ve grown apart from and have lost since then. Thank you Silverstein
I'm super late. But I feel you man. Been listening since arrivals and departures. I've honestly enjoyed all there albums. In different ways. They've kind of followed me throughout the years as my taste in music has changed. My life is a bit chaotic. But I need to see a Silverstein concert before I die. I have to.
These guys are brilliant. I’m impressed every time they release an album.
The part from here 1:56 onwards is just amazing! Silverstein is a miracle, they just never dissapoint over 20 years but evolve, love you guys
silverstein at their core right there. that shit hits the dopamine brain shiver every time. if i ever see em play this song live it's a 100% chance i'm boutta be crowd surfing during it.
I love this brings and older vibe from the early days mixed with some newer them.
this track fucking SLAMS bro
my favorite track on the album...1:56 this is what i always loved about them... just a special silverstein vibe in it cant describe it
I feel like this song would be perfect for a car-racing video game.
Now this is a jam. This album is so damn good!
Preordered this album on iTunes and have been listening since midnight last night with nice headphones. Love this band!
So sadly no CD player however I do go and see Silverstein in concert 1-2 times a year and always buy at least 2 shirts each concert...I really promise I do my best to support these guys.
@1:55 - 2:20 This is Silverstein. Their breakdowns are so unique, you could insantly recoginize them anywhere.
this song was at the rock bar 💖💖 love this band but didnt recognise it. thanks to shazam
russian rock bar
Totally late to the party. But been listening since arrivals and departures. I always inject new Silverstein directly into my ear drums.
Excellent Album. Go Silverstein !
wuff wuff
wow this songs the genre.
.nice
if you put a violin in these songs a lot of them could pass for songs off yellowcards lights and sounds album lol
Yeah, I've had multiple Yellowcard flashbacks during my listens of the album. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it's there.
@@nahailyenvanakkor I like it I also feel like this can fall under the ADTR genre of "mosh pop" lol I like the direction this album went by not completely losing themselves unlike yellowcard when they came back with lift a sail...that was a slight disappointment
Alon
Sliverstien for life
#staythefuckhome
Sold out for radio play, sad.
are u serious?
Hahahaha wow.
If a band is going to sell out, they're probably not going to wait twenty years to do it, but writing the same music for twenty years would get pretty boring. You can't blame them for wanting to try something new.
Also, this would never play on any radio where I live except the stations specifically dedicated to alternative music.
I don't see how they "sold out" if you only want open chugs grows and breakdowns go listen to something else? Silverstein is still as amazing as what they were for discovering the waterfront or when broken is easily fixed
