On a serious note: I have noticed I always feel like I perform absolutely dominantly when I do juijitsu immediately after a hard strength session. Especially after a good overloading clean/deadlift session. Would you personally say this potentiation effect described in this video may actually be a primary reason?

There could be a number of factors. Potentiation is one factor also there is readiness from a psychological standpoint. As well as fatigue. If you're doing a strength session with the right variables (ex: power focus, low volume, etc.) a lot of these factors work together to improve readiness

Hey Matt, actually I'm a cricketer. So, someone told me that as a cricketer you shouldn't do bench press or excercises which causes hypertrophy of muscles like biceps, triceps and back or so. Is it important to not be bulky as an athlete..?

Actually hypertrophy training can be very beneficial for cricket so long as it's programmed well to translate to function and strength for cricket performance. My cricket program includes a phase of hypertrophy. www.themovementsystem.com/12-week-cricket-program-info-page

What about doing plyometrics the day before a game? If I remember correctly, it could decrease my power/ vertical jump by a certain percentage
