Thankyou!! This video was fantastic. It is concise and simple which made it easy for an untrained person to follow. If I could rate it I would give it 5 stars!!!!!!
My chronic vertigo is now under control thanks to Epsley treatments by a RMT. I book three treatments with one day off in between. The RMT sits on chair, helps me to lay down with head supported off table. I only have to lay on back ONCE and do not have to lay on my sides. RMT moves my head in all three head positions. My head is turned to left then lowered slightly (when eyes stop wobbling takes up to 2 mins) my head is turned back to center position and tilted backward slightly (when eyes stop wobbling takes 2 mins) my head is then turned to right and lowered slightly. Again when eyes stop wobbling (takes up to 2 min). I am helped to sit upright shoulders held until I feel alright and I'm ready to stand up. I leave my belongings on chair so I do not have to bend over to pick up anything from floor. I am driven home missing pot holes on route and not breaking suddenly helps. I'm almost back to normal but it did take a number of years of Epsley treatments whenever vertigo got out of hand. It's nice I no longer sleep sitting up in a chair and I can hang out washing and be able to look up without toppling over. Best of all the walls no longer swing from side to side.
WOW this works thanks for show how to do it at home. I have done it three times and what a difference, still a little dizzy but not the throw me to the ground dizzy. THANKS!!!!
Your video was a lifesaver for me. Thanks a lot! Gone after one time! Sleeping on 45 degrees high pillow for 4 nights after and not bending down for 24 hours was useful too.
This video has helped me so much. I used it almost a year ago. And I had to go back in my history to find it again because I woke up with vertigo this morning. Thank you so much for this!
Thank you so much. It worked a treat. What a relief. Now I'm assured of a remedy should my vertigo ever come back. Am most grateful.
Thanks Guys. With my co-pay being high, was looking for relief.
I got mad dizzy & fell off my motorcycle & knew it had to be related to my inner ear problem.
I am not gonna stop riding.
Just knew there had to be a remedy. This also got rid of the anxiety I would feel laying on one side at night.
This was particularly good because you went right to the main issues. Thanks.
This is the best Epley Manuever I have come across. You have made it so simple and so easy to do the exercise. Thank you very much. I feel so much better after suffering days of vertigo. Nasreen Sattar, Bangladesh
I had vertigo years ago, and this maneuver helped get rid of it. It seems to have come back so here I go again. This video is great, much better explanation than I found back in 2008. Thank you!
Great explanation!
*Thank you for the informative video. I was recently diagnosed with BPPV and the ENT had done the Epley Maneuver for the first time. I was also advised to do some exercises at home and then come back for another Epley Maneuver session*
Great instructions. Thank you.
Thanks this has been very helpful!
Thank you so much. Great video.
Thanks! My grandma will try this!
Oh my god!!! I had a vertigo this morning and I tried only one time and it worked for me. Really u guys are God❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I also saw heard you have to keep your head up straight NOT LOOK DOWN FOR 24hrs after you roll up with your head in same position then look straight ahead .Ps put a neck brace to help with that.
Thank you soooooo much for this info. you guys made it easy to understand. Vertigo is no joke!!!!
When you’re speaking to people dealing with vertigo you need to calm and quiet not loud and boisterous. I love your enthusiasm for helping people but maybe kick it down a notch. ☺️Have a blessed day.
I completely agree. That was the 8th video we ever made. I cringe every time I look back on my old content lol 🤦🏻♂️
Vas very good thanks
Thanks v good and understanding 🌹

Thank you for that you see I feel and hit my head and my right hert me and the life a little bit so I well tried you vertigo thank you very much by
Thanks for this. I appreciate alternatives to drugs.
Hey, what do you recommend for subacromial impingement?
We do a lot of vestibular rehab in our practice. This is only ONE of the many variations of the epley maneuver. We’re doing it differently and not just positioning.
What else do you do?
I have bppv...I practice yoga and aikido... doctors say that movements from those provoke the vertigo... but I have noticed that it happens to me after long stressful periods.... if it was the movement I should be sick every day..... that is my thought..... I know other people who have it and they do nothing as exercise or go to gym etc.... can I have your opinion please?
Hello! I have heard that if you have it in both ears you should only do one side a day? Not both or you will just mess up what you did in the other ear? You don't seem to believe that but I just wanted to confirm with you? Thank you for your video!
Hi I have tried it once how many times should I try this and how long should I wait in between ? I can feel it in my right ear when I turn on my right.
Excellent video. Very simple to follow. Thank you, thank you and thank you.

Will stemetil tabs help.?
How to know wich side we have to do this maneuver ? Can we try on both side without danger ?
Thanks! How many times do I do this in one session and when do I know when to stop doing this treatment?
RickyTy1 we would recommend doing it maybe 3 times a session and continue to do it until the vertigo subsides.
Now if you have done it for a little while and your symptoms don’t resolve then check in with your doctor because usually if it is BPPV then your vertigo will subside after a little bit

How many times a day should this be done?
I did it but it didn't really work for me 😢
lift right knee before turning on left side.
Anyone get this after sleeping on a pillow wrong or awkward sleeping in general?
I have vertigo on both sides and a tingling sensation on my left side. I'm not sure where to start. Nothing seems to work. HELP!!
Are vertigo just cause by ear imbalance?
My PT did this maneuver on me twice a week for about three weeks, and finally FINALLY, it started working. What finally made it stick was that she told me not to lie down flat after the maneuver and to sleep in my lounger chair that night, so I was at about a 34 degree angle in the chair. Was a bit uncomfortable, but it worked.
Hi, did you keep your head straight for 24 hrs? I'm trying this technique but having same difficulty. thank you

Take Promethazine tablet hour befor maneuvers, helps you not vomit. Get from doctor.
Is it possible for a 30 yr old to get vitigo ?
Alex Anaya I’m 21 and I have vertigo.
Please limit your hand movements! Already got dizziness going on and this was extremely difficult to watch. Everything else was very helpful. Thanks!
Had this done 4 times at ENT office and its not working for me I still have constant vertigo
Hi Anna, Did your ENT Doctor perform the Dix HallPike to determine which ear was affected, and most important y which canal was affected. Different maneuver for different canals. Plus if the posterior canal is the affected canal, did you have cupolathisis or canalathisis. Different maneuvers.
@@SarwanSingh-lf8tg it's my left ear I actually found that out myself before even seeing him but the only thing he did was the epley maneuver
@@annam1905 you can try different manuever. In my case I just sleep on my good side and when I woke up the vertigo is already gone. That was after performing 2 eply maneuver by myself.
@@zetrodriguez5695 i do sleep on my good side it doesn't make a difference i cant lay on my back either the spinning starts if i move my eye around i get dizzy my ent is sending me to therapy im depressed so tired of not sleeping and its when im awake also its horrible
@@annam1905 Hi I feel you. Are you okay now?
this beutifull lady looks like that girl in spiderman 1 s girlfriend
Symptoms not gone
You might need to go to the emergency room then because it could be something else other then vertigo
Mines from a pinched nerve in my neck. My ex caused permanent damage years ago by punching me in the neck.
Not easy to follow when you are the person feeling vertigo, I feel like this could be more simply explained, not great execution for your video.
You can't do it successfully on the couch in your video because you can't roll over properly. You need a bed.
