IF I WERE AN ENGINEER I would honestly make every car I designed easy to disassemble. I would encourage modding and making it "your own" because I could even sell my own performance parts and such which people can choose to buy and even install themselves. This idea that companies want to make cars hard and harder to work on is bullshit.
It so buyers have to take their cars to the dealership for fixes so they get more money
If you were the engineer you would make every car cheap in production and expensive in servicing. This is what the manufacturer pays their engineers for.

This was such a great video I learned a lot, however still lots to go. I started my install on my 2011 SS and for the life of me can't figure out or find anywhere how to connect the new rear speakers to the amp, there are 4 wires of each rear speaker, but only need two, I read about the bi amped thing but I have a new amp and am bypassing the factory one, any help!

Another interesting and informative video about what it takes to interface with OEM electronics these days. Personally, I don't really see the advantage of the epicenter given all the features built into the aftermarket headunit and amplifers. I also cannot understand why the subwoofer wouldn't have also been from Rockford Fosgate in this particular system, but to each their own.

Hey guys I'm sure you have said it somewhere on one of your vids but you were talking about the crossover staying dry which made me wonder about the road kill. Is the road kill water resistant and what happens if it does get wet? Does it effect the sound quality? Will you have to replace? I need answers lol. Keep up the killer work guys!
Anyone know if the make a pac kit , for the 18-20 Chevy equinox , seem to be kits made for Camaro, corvette and other GM cars what so hard about make a kit for the equinox if there doing a Camaro and it retained the onstar.
I know there is a equinox community and are a lot us who would like to change the radio and possibly the speakers with out losing some of the functionality.

When you cut your speaker wire and other wires to attach to your amp, how do you figure out your lengths you need? Are you estimating how much you'll need and then cut them shorter if needed?

Why not do active crossover, no issues with routing and having the crossover in the door.

Listen to me, if you turn down all the EQ, lows, mids and highs, you don't have go the extra mile to gain match the amplifiers, I told that to Steve Meade but he hasn't said nothing back so I hope you will reply because it actually makes sense if you think about it. Hope to hear from you.

I really want to see an S550 mustang get a new head unit. I would bring mine in but I am in North Georgia. I don't care about audio tones or using the telephone, I just use it as a weekend and track car and stream music. Already put a DSR1 in, removed the amp, wired new Focal tweeters (3-way components up front), coaxial in the rear and 2 JL Audio 10" subs. I would like to get rid of the factory head unit.
How do the focals sound? Im on the fence on focal, morel, and audio frog in mine.
@@icxraza8815 They sound amazing, I am using the Focal Performance 165AS3 3-Way set. Having said that though, I have not heard a good set of Morel or Audio Frogs. I am very happy with these though. I put the Focal RCX165 coax in the rear deck.
Yup, I freaked out when the backup lights didn't come on during my install - thought I messed something up with the transmission controls. Weird GM car attribute.

Why didn’t the customer just go with the 1 T-Power 5 Channel T1000X5ad mini amp? He’s actually losing a bit of power, space, and money by using the 2 amps.
They've stated that the pandemic is making hard to find parts. So maybe they couldn't get the 5 channel amp?
