Yeah, should have been buried in the desert
Only thing I'm worried about is the Microwave parts corroding and/or collapsing due to moisture in the soil or pressure from placed concrete and buildings in the future and various other possibilities that can and will happen in the future. Honestly you can only do so much to prepare.
But I wish them luck with it.
I was gonna say something similar to that.
Or in 5000 years, someone's gonna fry themselves with the transformers in that microwave. Assuming of course that the apocalypse happened and we've rebuilt to the point of at least a primitive understanding of electricity and have some sort of batteries invented. :D

"So... This was the pinnacle of society?"
People don't know how to use a VHS or cassette after 20 years. Pretty presumptuous to think anyone would know what a CD is in 1000 years... or 100
@@Dr.Spatula Well if Humans are still surviving after a 1000 years, theres a pretty good chance(If nuclear war doesnt happen) that we will have stored archives and data on how to read CDs and Blu rays, or even how to produce a device that can read such stored data. You cant just assume that people will forget how to use VHS in 20 years. That stuff is also readable today if you have the necessary equipment.
This happens because of advancement of technology that we replace old tech which is less efficient than todays tech, so people haven't forgotten how to use VHS, they just dont need to because it is worst than todays modern hard drives and ssds and micro sd card and so on.
@@Dr.Spatula they gave them a disc reader, hopefully people will undersatnd it
Look at the record player...It's old af and been around since 1877... Everyone still know how to use it in 2020...hopefully....
143 years, and the first ever recording device was invented 17 years before that and I'm pretty sure most still know how to use it.
What I see it our current tech is going to be more simpler to use than the future devices or vice versa, but im sure the future leftover survivors of the great apocalypse/alien invasion/ nuclear holocost/Anarky revolution/, and\or marshal law will figure it out with no problem...If it survives throught the hell the world is going to go through.
@@xevion88 There's a couple problems using records as an example. They really weren't replaced by cassettes making them the rare tech that wasn't generationally bound, not becoming less popular until the '90s when CDs took over (30 years, not 143). Records also never stopped being produced like VHS, BETA, cassette, 8track, laser disc, etc. and have had a resurgence in the 2010s.
