The amount of people NOT calling it a Wrender is a huge crime.

Not to make it weird, but watching Corridor and revisiting Node videos has really been one of the few things I can look forward to during these times. The pandemic has taken a big toll on me personally in so many indirect and unforeseen ways and watching you guys just doing your thing has truly been one of the few things that makes me happy. I've watched your content for so long it's like hanging out with old friends. So I just want to say thank you guys for being there making amazing content and building an amazing community around your channels. You guys are seriously doing something impactful. I know it's just vfx and goofs, but really it's so much more. Stay awesome guys!
I started watching them regurarly in February this year. Ive been watching old videos and damn this is the best channel on CZcams. Super creative and funny. Now I am considering to learn VFX to create some cool renders like these from this video. 💪

@@CaseFace5 Of course it isn't, Peter is on another level, it wouldn't be fair
@@CaseFace5 the irony of you saying this after the way Beeple acted in their last video he was in
There was never any real beef. It was obviously good natured ribbing. Both are amazing artists and that's why their render killed it in that challenge. I was stoked to see Beeple and Peter on a team because I thought their style's would go well together and I was correct. Beeple is incredibly talented and Peter is the freaking boy wonder. Damn, those were some sweet renders. Wren's Portal one looks and sounds amazing and the loop is so satisfying! Peter's use of lighting and particles is also beautiful! GG's all round!
Kinda funny that they wear masks and then hug, jump, climb and high-five all over each other though.
Yeah, I'm guessing they're not too serious because they spend most of their time together anyway. Also, a portal effect compliment should mean a lot coming from you! You were one of the first person to get me interested in CG stuff!

Out of all of them I think Peter has the biggest potential. I cannot wait to see him 5 or 10 years down the line. Sam and Niko you feel this mature edge to them, Clint and Peter give me and adventurous vibe, meaning they still have some exploring to do.

You've been a consistent source of entertainment and knowledge for 10 years. Through all the ups and downs I know I can watch a corridor video.
Whoever used the old school music in this episode: thank you. The nostalgia of all the boys playing AoE2 came rushing back instantly.
"I sent a ship...full of petards!"
it is insane how skilled and talented all these guys are. They were all pretty much flexing the entire video

Somehow I've never heard of this channel until now. You've been around for 10 years? This stuff looks insanely good, it's very cool to see how far you've all come, and how far the technology has come as well. It blows my mind seeing how people actually make this stuff, like getting the 3D scans of yourselves, doing the motion capture, and that app at 8:20 to record geometry info.

Peter is such a wonderful and talented person. Instead of taking his misgivings with Beeple and getting discouraged, he took that negative experience and learned from it while still respecting Beeple's talent. Some times you can learn good things from bad people when you separate their work from their personality, and that's a hard lesson to learn. I have such profound respect for such a mature young artist. He also just blends so perfectly with the wacky DNA of Corridor and it's lovely to see Corridor foster the talent of a young artist.
I can see Sam getting choked up in some of these shots, and for good reason. The young kids who used to do backyard garage vfx have become grandmasters of their craft.
Every time I hear of a creator's age, it makes me forget that.. things either take a long time to start, or that you can truly find something that you love enough to keep doing it for years and years. It makes me feel a lot better about my own age and confusion on where to start, it just takes time.
I really love the art you guys produce and seeing how you've grown over the past decade!
This felt like the closing of Clint’s arc as a corridor cast member/character which is insanely sad but I know it felt so good to nail that shot as he’s mentioned it more than once on the channel. You were and will be missed Clint!
Wren talks about rendering while the camera zooms on his signature.

No one gonna talk about how they uploaded 4 times this week, I’m enjoying this
You guys should reshoot an old video, and have like "this is what it looked like when we were just starting out, and this is what it would look like if we had 10 years of experience."
Kinda already did that partially with Peter recreating the Mario bugg SFX from 10y ago.

I love this video. You guys are such amazing artists. I remember watching frozen crossing, Minecraft the last mine cart, dub step guns, and it's been a fun ride! Dubstep Guns may still be my all-time favourite Corridor piece. There's just so much nostalgia for me around that one small video... The music, the visuals and the classic Corridor humour - it's all there. It was also the video I was showing my friends back then at school to get them into your channel! 🔫
Whether one discovered Corridor from the "VFX Reacts", or grew up with the early days of Corridor's VFX Behind the Scenes or Vlogs, it's undeniable the amount of entertainment the crew have provided us with each coming year. Great to see a video highlighting some of the dope videos that grew the channel throughout the years!

Also Clint: comes back one more time barely 3 weeks later.
Yo I'm fucking balling my eyes out watching this why is no one talking about how god damn emotional this is??? Like I've watched you guys since frozen crossing so this is insane to see your progress just so starkly juxtaposed next to the originals this pandemic has pushed me and I'm sure so many other artists to stop looking at our work as a hobby and take that step to do what we love for a living and I'm happy I can say I achieved that this last year. I remember how fucking hype I was when I got a reply to a comment from you guys on your very first like "how to" video explaining depth of field I think? Like holy shit man legit tears thank you guys for sticking around seeing this growth means more than you know

The clever thing about Nico's looking so great is that he avoided humans in his render. So no uncanny valley. If you look at the others, it's the humans that give it away.
In the end, all of them are amazing. Peter, Wren and Clint are extremely talented but it was Nico's who surpassed expectations the most.

Just wanna appreciate the editing in this vid - balancing 5 parallel thought processes being explained at the same time and it all flows and you're able to understand every person without losing track. Really nicely done! 👌🏼
I remember being in school when the Minecraft video came out. This feels like seeing old friends again. Let me wipe away this tear.
At the end of this, I was all in my feels. I have been watching Corridor and Node for probably about half as long as they have been online. This was really heartfelt... Until Niko said they were turning these into NFTs. That took me out of the moment extreamly fast.
Yeah, that really just took me out of my nostalgia driven feels and it just felt as though the feelings in the video were less genuine and were more manufactured to sell a product, and some of the NFTs seemingly still haven't sold which I find interesting. The fact that they are offsetting the environmental impacts by one hundred is good, but it just doesn't sit well with me knowing that NFTs are effectively receipts saying that you own a fake trading card for upwards of tens of thousands of dollars. This just feels like a weird thing for Corridor to have made at all, even when addressing the environmental impact and reducing it.
@@lordxenusfollower I will say, this video did come before NFTs got super big, and before they were so heavily associated with annoying stocks bros. At the very least the art that they made into NFTs is actually decent and not the lowest possible effort like a lot of NFTs around right now.
even though this was made over a year ago, I still wanna say that it is very surreal how far you guys have come as a channel and company, cause eleven years ago now I was 6 and probably saw my first corridor video when I was 8-9 and now I'm 17 and I graduate next year. You guys have taught me so many random things about writing and that is something I've invested my life into now and just watching you guys let me know that it is possible to make it in this world. I hope you guys have another great 10 years and hope you guys do more projects that push yourselves.
One of my favourite videos by far. Shows the process of how they made their renders. (Quixxel Megascans, Minewave, Polycam, Terrain Heightmaps, Mixamo). My mind is filled with new knowledge.
I think the Minecraft exporting tool is called Mineways, just in case anyone is trying to find that.
I'm very impressed by the result of all the guys. Especially Niko's blew my mind, even after not doing that much renders last few years. Keep it up guys!
I've gone through a corridor pilgrimage of old videos over the past few weeks, and I feel like this is the perfect conclusion. Thanks as always guys.
