I love how in any kind of VFX competition that Peter's in, his biggest strength/weakness is that he just turns in a different assignment. Like if you asked him to build a house, he'd have a fantastic three-layer cake ready for you by the end of the week. It's a great cake, but it's not a house.

The time limit to get files off a different computer is absolutely brilliant. It actually makes even the starting points of both contestants incredibly different. I'd absolutely love to see more of this, it's such an amazing concept for a show.
But corrupting the files was annoying
The renders are lacking alot of assets tho, so more time would be cool. Like 5 min
I noticed that single file copies are Faster than vast multiple files in multiple seperate copy actions
@@jakekayden4061 That could be avoided by using a more resilient file system with journaling. Or at least running a Chkdsk on them which would flag up and ask to remove the corrupted files.
Agreed I'm a fan of Iron Chef myself so that made it feel authentic
should have done about 30 more cuts to faces with reactions while you were waiting for that suspenseful moment to announce the winner at the end

For authenticity they could've added at least 6-7 more sponsored segments.

I absolutely need to see this as a series. Seeing this grow to eventually have guests come on to do this would have me glued for HOURS if this was a marathon on my tv.

Secret ingredient: “fluid based” In everything there is a sense of motion. These dishes should comprise themselves with the motions of water, snow, wind, sand, etc. be it from a still render to a mini movie.

Suggestion for the format:
The Iron Artist Judges should have monitors that show both competitor's monitors so they can comment on technique and ideas! I think a bit more commentary during the creation phase would add a lot of fun!

I really enjoyed how genuine Jordan's reaction to winning was. Everyone knows how talented and abstract Peter is. I imagine Jordan was genuinely surprised and relieved to beat Peter in this challenge.
That was intense, humorous, entertaining, informative and intuitive at the same time

Jordan's meme was just 10/10. Pure meme royalty. Nothing less than a legend and what makes it even more epic is the fact he basically rushed it in the last few minutes. Just by the looks on Wren and Niko's faces i knew he was going to win. His renders weren't as detailed or complex as Peter's, but the topic was always there. This is the first time i witness Peter clearly being outdone by someone else.
came for wren as the chairman, stayed for how well-thought-out this format is! very excited to see more of these.

When I heard Wren say "Possibly the oldest 3D model of all time" I totally thought that the secret ingredient was the Utah Teapot. So I think next time that should be the secret ingredient.

I love the render challenges in general, but the added atmosphere really elevates this It also found the perfect balance between taking itself hyper-seriously, and not taking itself seriously at all ♡
I was looking for a snack, but this video gave me a hearty meal. I really love the concept and the format. Like usual, the comedies and jokes are brilliants. I think making the Appetizer, Main Course, and Dessert like this is really smart. It brought up different skill sets for each course. Really love the Appetizer 's concept. Making a render with only that one object. Both Jordan and Peter delivered an amazing appetizers.

K I know this got less views, but this needs to happen again it's a great concept. It's always great when you guys do vfx challenges against eachother! Seeing all of y'all create a new beautiful piece of art so with such limited time is truly incredible.
i love Wren, his attitude and his way of being! He is so genuinely good person that makes u feel that being cool doesn't have to be related to any kind of 'positive rudeness' or any kind of jokes that require you to swear or to make some controversial allusions and so on (dunno how to explain this in english). He is a pure gold in my eyes! Truly good friend not 'tainted' by this world in any negative way!
Secret Ingredient for a future episode: Mirrors!
What do they reflect? The condition of the artist? The environment they exist in? The audience?
It has some great potential for artistic interpretation. Not to mention they are difficult to create!
Only a true Iron Artist would be able to create 3 digital dishes in only 2 hours!
