Ma Doug he went on strike to force a move from us, then he goes and pulls this stunt. At least respect club that stood with you through thick and thin. He ruined it
That’s not even accurate. He BECAME a solid defender, but for his first two years at the club he was hopeless! I remember wanting him out in the first two seasons along with many other Arsenal fans. He cost us seven games in that second season through mistimed tackles, bad runs and lack of knowledge of the game. He was a liability and was lucky to be picked at the end of that second season. He did however turn it around and proved me wrong, by becoming our captain and a rock at the back. He also however, did ruin his legacy with his antics to leave and that stupid stunt with the shirt was disgusting and a stupid thing to do.
I think the main issue with this was the way he left the club. If he had left amicably, maybe like Xhaka did, this announcement wouldn’t have been a big deal to a lot of people.
I think what he did with the shirt thing was disrespectful given that he left in not so good circumstances. He was the best defender Arsenal had for a long time and would easily have become a club legend if his exit was better. Most Arsenal fans still respect him though.
All we need to realize that he needed to move on, so did we. We see Arsenal now, we're just fine. No need to judge him so badly, we have to thank to Koscielny after all the years he had been in Arsenal.

I remember a Barcelona game he single person stopped Messi the whole game. He's a beast! And he didn't throw Arsenal shirt on floor, and we already ready for him to leave that time.
The story is not entirely accurate. Arsenal did not want to sell Koscielny whatsoever. Koscielny was Arsenal main CB & captain, he still had his pace & was playing well prior to Europa final. He however was the one who wanted a move away, Arsenal denied a move telling him to join Preseason squad. He then tried force a move by refusing to go on tour, that led to him being disciplined, kept at home and sold. Arsenal had no plans to sell the club captain, the breakup was messy. He then did that Bordeaux video to make things even worse. Remember Koscielny last ever game was the Europa League final where he put up a 2nd half disasterclass, embarassing performance. Should have been sold for that alone, instead Arsenal willing to still have him despite being older.
