I have a question about the challenge, i've been learning russian for about 2 months (my russian is really basic), do you recommend me do the challenge? and if you do... how could i deal with the russian-only chat and the weekly speaking task? What is the difference between все and всё? Since some Russians forget the two dots in some words, it can be difficult to tell which is which in some Russian texts.
*все* can be used in the context of people Such as *все* были в комнате - *everyone* was in the room But also as objects Я взял *все* мои вещи - I took *all* my things *Всё* can be used as something universal. Я потерял *всё* - I lost *everything* *всё* прошло отлично - *Everything* went perfectly I think it also means that *всё* doesn't depend on the noun.
In my language in one dialect there is a word "soromnoo" which means the same and so actually comes form "vsjo ravno" (sorry I write in transliterated form, but did so to illustrate the similarity)
«Мне всё равно.» has a good, fairly direct translation to English: "It's all the same to me." « Павел, хочешь борш или окрошка? » « Мне всё равно. Мне нравятся оба! » Thanks for the informative video, as always!
