I like how Fedor sometimes gets a little aggressive when he explains it makes me laugh but it also shows that he's passionate about what he does. Keep it up buddy!
If he isn't aggressive, then we have to be skeptical of his nationality.))))
I like that you go into so much detail and also give plenty of examples. It makes it a lot easier to understand. Please continue to do it this way.
4:07 Thanks for hypnosis, from now on I will always remember the guy that wears the same exact suit every single day, original teaching methods, Fedor!
You are the best russian teacher on CZcams! I have learned so much from your videos. Keep it up. Спасибо
Thank you so much!
The way you explain this makes it so easy. Я люблю ваши видеи!
"ВидеО". Во множественном числе видео остаётся видеО😆
Rebecca video, in Russian, is indeclinable.
It's very good
I am studying in Russia now. It's helpful to my life
4.
The same one[as before]
То́т же
[Tot zhe]
Let me use an example:
In that company when you worked with that co-worker your friend used to work there too. And that co-worker, that I mentioned before, was wearing the same suit. But your friend left the company. A year goes by and he asks you “Hey does that co-worker still wears the same the same suit?”
-Does he wear the same suit?[as before]
Он носит тот же костюм?
On nosit tot zhe kastyum?
★
Therefore, “Тот же”[Tot zhe] is going to mean “ the same as before “.
Which means that you're referring to some object that was there before.
If you know a little of Russian then you know that ‘Тот[Tot]=that.
4.
This same[as before]
Этот же
[Etat zhe]
Can be used for example:
It's you and your friend again in you are drinking water. You pour yourself some water and you drank it. And your friend asked for water. Then you say: “Oh I have only one glass[cup]. You want me to pour water into the same one, I drank from before?”
So you say:
-Should I pour it into the same glass?
Мне налить в этот же стакан?
Mne nalit' v etat zhe stakan?
So in this case you're going to say “this same glass “, because it's right here in front of you. It's not that same glass --it's this same glass. It's not a separate glass that looks the same-It is the exact same one. So you are going to pour water in this same glass some water and give it to your friend.
6.
Exact
Самый
Samyy
And just to spice things up a little bit we can add “ Самый “ to:
“Этот же” and “Тот же” .
This exact same
Этот же cамый
Etat zhe samyy
That exact same.
Тот же cамый
Tot zhe samyy
Cамый acts as an emphasizer.

Identical=Одина́ковый [Adinakavyy]
AND
The same as=Тако́й же [Takoy zhe]
These two are going to represent two separate objects that either are
identical or the one that has been bought is the same one as before. we want to talk
about the cars. If you remember -“ I bought the same exact car as my mom's “.
So those were two objects what we're talking about.
★
Same [routine]=Один и то́т же. [Adin i tot zhe.]
AND
The same one[as before]=То́т же [Tot zhe]
We're talking about the same only one object- either it is the same exact suit/glass.
один и тот же is like 'one and the same' in English.
Очень хорошо вы объяснили 👍🏻. Спасибо большое 🙏🏻
you are a gentleman and a scholar
7.
It is the same thing.
Тоже cамoe
[Tozhe samaye]
This one is going to describe an atmosphere. It is going to be a noun, which means it is the same thing. Let me give an example. That way it is going to be
easier to understand. You are taking a test using a pencil. The teacher comes to you and says : “You have to write with a pen” . And you say:
It is the same thing!
Это тоже cамoe !
Eta tozhe samaye!
It is the same exact thing. So why are you telling me to write with it with the pen
instead of a pencil?
★
Это тоже cамoe ! We're taking this as one wholistic phrase.
And don't break it up because it means “It is the same thing .”
I searched how to say Same in Russian and I'm glad I found such a good video! The way you teach the words with examples is awesome, you're a good teacher. I subscribed! 😊
Great video Fedor! I like your explanations and examples. I'm living in Moscow and I need to communicate! I'm also enjoying the challenge although I'm sometimes lazy and don't want to study.
Спасибо Фёдор, за интересное видео. Я нечего не знала. Можно сейчас изучать и понимать 👋
Brilliant!
wow fantastic video!
My congratulations Fedor! very well explained. I must say it's really difficult for us foreigners to know to use this word in russian correctly but now at last I understood! Great video. Thanks a lot for your help.
Adinakavee - identical
Takoyzhe - the same as
Ya kuploo takoyzhe machinu - I will buy the same car
Adin etokzhe - the same (routine)
On nozit adin etokzhe costume kazhdy din - he wears the same suit every day
great as always
I was looking for this! Большое спасибо!

Thanka Fedor!
great work, Fedor I just love it. But have you thought of this:
After your session with english explanations redo exactly the same thing in russian in the same vid.
would be потрясающый!!!!!!!!
Спасибо большое
Great video but could you leave the words up on screen a little longer? Спасибо
Great topic! Thank you
Fedor, No body is as good as you teaching and explaining on CZcams, hurra....! by the way, your last name means Sweet in Persian, (shirin) from the word Shakar, borrowed into Russian as "Sakhar" сахар, I am sure many Persian Girls here on CZcams think you as Mr. Sweet
Great explanation!
Very useful thanks :)
Did anyone else hear "Хак дела" at the beginning of the video?
А ( также ) что значит
А тоже можно приведи на ней в пример
I'm studying your accent, Fedor.
"Тоже самое" is incorrect. "То же самое" is correct. "Тоже" and "то же" have different meanings. Тоже - "too", то же - "the same". For example: Мне тоже дайте, пожалуйста, то же пирожное. Please give me too the same cake.
Very good
I have wrote this scenario and I would like to know if they’re correct:
-Ты можешь дать тебя тетрадь, пожалуйста?
-Нет, мой тетрадь не полный
-Ты можешь дать тебя тетрадь вместо?
-Мой тетрадь такой же его тетрадь
-Ты можешь дать мне свою тетрадь, пожалуйста?
-Нет, моя тетрадь не заполнена
-"Can you give me yourself, notebook, instead?" I didn’t understand what you wanted to say.
-Моя тетрадь такая же, как и твоя тетрадь
Ah! I didn’t even notice i wrote Тебя instead of Твоя
@@shinydewott
In any case, this does not make sense. Because it is not clear "instead of what?"
"Instead", it means some kind of exchange(or replacement) of something for something. But you only ask to give you.
Alex Alex You can use it like that in English, but I don’t know how to in Russian
@@shinydewott
Я помою посуду вместо тебя (I'll wash the dishes instead of you)
Возьми фен вместо полотенца. (Take a hairdryer instead of a towel.)
Почему они вместо меня выбрали тебя? (Why did they choose you instead of me?)
Сегодня вместо отдыха я буду работать. (Today, instead of resting, I will work.)
xaxa I'm your new follower and this's exactly what I ask for
Бедные иностранцы! Столько всего нужно учить😅 Великий и могучий РУССКИЙ ЯЗЫК
Bir dil ne kadar karmaşık ve öğrenilmesi zor ise o kadar az gelişmiştir. Bunu Rusça bilen biri olarak söylüyorum. Rus dilindeki mantık hatalarını ve istisnaları Ruslar bile anlamakta ve açıklamakta zorlanıyorlar.😉
Один и тот же is literally translated as "one and that one" and is almost identical to "one and the same".
Правильнее будет раздельно:
"то же самое"
Good explanation. But I have to really grasp the idea of this.
What about похожий?
How would you say 'I always forget the same words'... as in you are learning Russian and you keep forgetting the same expressions, words and sentences?!
It's "то же самое", not "тоже самое"
Would have to argue with you on this!
MY RUSSIAN HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER WAS A BEAST!!!!
If a waiter asks 'what would you like?" and you want to say "the same as him" (referring to the guy next to you). How to express this?
Тоже что и у него.
The same as his.
damn it has a lot of words
What about похожие? I heard many people used it when I was in Moscow
It depends on a context. 1. Похоже - probably, seem to be. E.g. Он, похоже, был в плохом настроении. 2. Similar, alike. E.g similar views - прохожие взгляды,
Hello friends! How are you?
Привет Друзья! Как дела?
Privyet druzya! Kak dela?
My name is Fedor. I hope that you are ready for this. You guys been asking me a lot how is “the same” in Russian. And today we're going to give you the answer
to all of your questions. You are interested in this topic. All those things are going
to get addressed today. One full video is going to be long and complicated.
I hope that you're paying attention and taking notes because you will need that.
Let's not waste any more time jump right in to this!
1.
Identical
Одина́ковый
[Adinakavyy]
★
And mostly we're going to use “Одина́ковый “[ Adinakavyy] in plural case because we're going to be talking about two or more identical things.
For example, you and your mom want to buy cars -your mom wants to buy a car and you want to buy a car. So you say to your mom:
-Let’s buy the same [identical] cars.
Давайте купим одина́ковые машины.
Davayte kupim adinákovyye mashiny.
They're going to be exactly the same you that you cannot tell one apart from
the other- they're exactly the same. They are not physically one object. They are
two different cars but if you would look at one and then the other you cannot
tell the difference between them. A similar word to this one. Is:
[Тако́й же=The same as]
↓
2.
The same as
Тако́й же
Takoy zhe
Identical{Одина́ковый [Adinakavyy] } doesn’t have this particle :
Же [zhe]=as, at the end. In other words is going to take all the qualities from some object you have. You referencing to something that already exists.
The same with the cars. For example, your mom bought a car and you want to buy a car, and you tell her:
-I'm going to buy the same exact car as yours.
Я куплю такую же машину.
YA kuplyu takuyu zhe mashinu.
↓
★
Now you have a reference point. You can reference something to the past. You know already that the car, that your mom has, you're going to buy the same as hers.
You are referencing that car to your mom's car. Because your car is going to have the same exact qualities as her car.
Therefore, when you compare Одина́ковый [Adinakavyy] and
{The same as[Тако́й же]--Takoy zhe}.
Одина́ковый -in this case, you have no reference point.
There was no car before; you don't know the qualities of that car. So you
just suggested to buy identical car.
But when you use:
{The same as[Тако́й же]--Takoy zhe}, you are referencing this
car to that car your mother bought before.
3.
Same [routine]
Один и то́т же.
Adin i tot zhe.
It means the same when you're talking about a routine. It can be negative and may be positive, but it's a routine. For example, you work at a company and you have a co-worker with you and he wears the same suit every single day. And you are saying “He wears the same suit every day”. In Russian you will say :
-He wears the same suit every day.
Он носит один и тот же костюм каждый день.
On nosit adin i tot zhe kastyum kazhdyy den'.
★
NOTE:
Identical=Одина́ковый [Adinakavyy]
One/alone =Один[Adin]
The same=Тако́й
These three words are adaptive to genders, which means they have the following forms: Masc, feminine, neuter and plural. They change according to genders and cases[that is, genitive, accusative.. and so on.]
It is missing the word равный
However , Самый means “the most “
I'll have to watch this video a lot xd
trust me. for a russian speaker it's the same story regarding english. Especially when to use what article the or a
EK haha I wish you luck :D
@@zheka1780 'The' is for when you are referencing a particular object.
'A' is when you talk about something in general.
Example:
I will buy you A car. = any possible car
I will buy you THE car. = talking about a car in particular. An alternative would be = I will buy you THIS car.
Not the best examples but I hope I helped somehow
@@andreisandulescu5111 ну это very general I referred to more complex cases
Loving the videos. Would anyone mind correcting?
я хочу такой же ее/ I want the same as hers
это не такой же вешь/ this is not the same thing
Я хочу такой же, КАК у неё (LIKE hers)
Это не тоже самое (it's not the same). We don't really use вещь in such sentence.
Спасибо за полезны видео !
не могли бы мне сказать какая разница между, угадать и отгадать?
Pretty much the same, but угадать means "to guess", while отгадать means "to figure out".
It's just a pity they aren't all the same word
Do you know what is the meaning of your name in Portuguese language???
🗺️🇷🇺🇺🇸🫵🏻
Thanks.
What about подобны?
Подобный - is very similar to похожий which actually means "similar", I would use "подобный" talking about very similar or identical things, though. I would say "подобный" now is tending to be used in more specific cases like high style speech, mathematical terms (e.g. "подобие треугольников". If triangles have the same angles and proportional sides - такие треугольники подобны) and another cases mostly regarding stylistics of the speech/text.
E.g. piece of Maxim Gorky's famous "The Song of the Stormy Petrel" (Песня о буревестнике): "Между тучами и морем гордо реет Буревестник, черной молнии подобный."
Аналогично
Тоже самое Х то же самое
What about похожий and похожа?
similiar
похожий (masc.), похожая (fem.), похожее (neut.), похожие (plur.).
Похожа - the short form of "похожая", so the others will be "похож, похоже, похожи"
у меня вопрос. какая разница между перед тем как, до того как, прежде чем, после того как, после... и так далее. спс
okay! 🍔🇷🇺🙄
