Cirrus autopilot disconnect/Pitch up problem solved!

Repeated problems with uncommanded and approach initial descent auto pilot disconnect and rocket ship pitch up were a problem with this aircraft. Last year the pitch motor was sent to the OEM for repair and was returned and installed.
We did a little testing and noted problems with a direction of the motor voltage being erratic while running the unit.
NOTE! This unit was autopsied at our shop before sending it back to the OEM for overhaul. We are NOT installing it back on the aircraft for operation…
