@@JerkySkink I'm conservative, I don't deny that "global warming" exists. There's just also global cooling (which was suggested to be the impending apocalypse when I was young). And I definitely don't agree with AOC that the world ends in 2031. Nor do I think that will be a catastrophic tipping point leading to an apocalypse. I think conservatives tend to under-sell climate issues, while liberals over-sell them. Likewise, liberals do enforce more steps to help reduce climate issues, but they also take more steps that cause more climate issues -- paper straws and PFAS, their private jets flying to events like adjusting doomsday clocks, gluing themselves to the road which leads to an increase in gas and diesel, while potentially also leading to more environmentally harmful materials to fix the damage they've created. There's a happy middle-ground somewhere, where we can get conservatives to consider more environmental options, and get liberals to stop causing the worst environmental damage.
